I don't understand Universal

I don't know your travel dates, but the RPR is about sold out for the month of June. AAA rates come out first (appx. 10 months in advance) with AP rates about 6 months in advance. AAA rates are only for "x" amount of rooms, and they may be all sold out of rooms at that rate. Check the supersaver rate at Universal's website, will that work for you? Also, you can call the hotel and inquire about rooms at AAA rate too...they are more than helpful!

Are you booking these rates online the AAA, bc I've been trying for the last week or two and come up with no AAA for June when we're going, unless maybe I should call?

AAA rates dont come up on the universal website. Loews either. They do come up on the AAA website, or you can just cal and ask for AAA rate.

Where is OP on this now? Do you see the light, Boomhauer?

well....they do...if you stay with them you dont wait in line...great deal...also i have always paid no more than 139.00 for rpr and it costs more than that at a mod at disney..and rpr is a deluxe resort.dont get me wrong I LOVE DISNEY but i love fotl access too i am going mothers day weekend with just the ladies and we got rpr for 139.00 and fl.res. tickets 2 days 2parks and 7 day citi walk pass for 67.00 .:cheer2: :

How did you get the $139/night rate for RPR on the weekend? If we could get this rate, we'd go to Universal this weekend as well!

Sometimes I think people just post to bust on Universal. When their trash talk is smoked with Universal logic, they disappear...

I'd love to be proven wrong. Boom, if you have seen the light (usually a large shining, spinning globe, ;) ) I humbly beg your forgiveness!

The onsite hotels are Loew's 4 star hotels within walking distance of both parks.

Just to compare- all 3 Universal resorts, 4 diamonds
Disney's value resorts, 2 diamonds.
Universal's resorts are cheaper than Disney's deluxe resorts, and worth every penny, IMO.

OT -- How did you like Paradise Pier? We're staying there in August for 4 nights in a paradise suite (just a little suite). Please tell me I haven't made a huge mistake!!!
