I don't think our cruise is very full. . .

We leave this Sunday on the 4-day Wonder. We originally had a GTY 11, got upgraded to a Deck 2 Cat9, but turned it down to be on a higher deck. So they put us in a Cat 11 Deck 5. I called yesterday to see if they could put us in one of the Cat 10 SPH rooms.(since they originally upgraded us to Cat 9, I thought I'd give it a shot) and she said those rooms are always booked early. She checked and there were still 2 SPH rooms available!! So, her supervisor called inventory and they moved us to an SPH room!

We are thrilled, but concerned that the ship will only be partially full. We'd rather have it packed with lots of fun-loving Disney people!!

Anyone else ask for an upgrade (after turning one down) and getting another one? Or been on a cruise with smaller crowds?

We, too, will be on the cruise this Sunday. You will have an absolutely wonderful time no matter how many people are, or are not, on the ship. Even if the ship is full, it never seems to be crowded so it'll be all the more room for you. You can be sure those that are there will be Disney "fun loving" people like yourself.

Wow! Congrats on getting your SPH cabin. Maybe it was just a question of everyone making the same assumption as the CM - not bothering to try and book one because they naturally thought it just wouldn't be available.

Hey, mickeyisahusker, glad to see another Nebr. family is going to be on the Sept 28 cruise. What are you doing posting out of West Des Moines?!! No DD's or DS's here, just us Disney DINKS.

We should have good weather for the cruise, now that Isabel is out of the way.

If you booked a gty cat 11, I would have to think that all the cat 11's were sold out. Maybe since it is a 4 day cruise that either people went with the 11's for the price or verandah's since it is less expensive than a 7 night cruise.
Enjoy your cruise, I'm sure there will be many people on board, even if it is not sold out.

We will be on that cruise too, and we have been told that the cruise is pretty full...when of course, we called and tried to get an upgrade!!!
We were unsuccessful so far...but you never know. We did get upgraded last time...
