to use Outlook Express. Can you "unsend" an e-mail once you've sent it like I can on my Aol account if I sent it to another Aol member? Will someone please help me. I'm going to go to bed now so I can forget how mail-challenged I am.

I'd like to help you, Dayna. But I'm totally computer challenged. I don't even know what Outlook Express is. AND, I didn't know you could "unsend" an email to anyone! See, I don't know anything!

Barb, we might be on the same boat as far as computer skills go. It's called the TITANIC. :D If I send another Aol member an e-mail from my Aol account, I can "unsend" if if he/she hasn't read it, yet. That's all I know.

LOL, Dayna. :D
But I haven't seen that movie (Titanic)yet. Oh, wait-that's a different thread!
Nitey-nite!;) ;)

No, Dayna honey (and Barb honey), you can't unsend mail from Outlook Express. Far as I can remember, AOL is the only ISP that allows you to do re-think your mail, and unsend it if you'd like.

Shoot, I did not even know you could unsend on AOL. We use outlook too but I can't figure it out sometimes either.

Well Dayna we are just glad you figured out this gosh darnit..new fangled computer thingy, so you could at least post here :D

I have always picked-up on computers fairly easily...so NA Nah Na Nah Na Nah :jester: :jester:

If you ever need any help just let me know.

Thanks, Steve. Okay. I have a new plan. Everyone switch to Aol (the crowd groans.) When I send out something stupid, I can unsend it quickly. :p :D

Patrick, I'm only using Outlook Express because you and Barry wanted me to send stuff using it instead of Aol. :p Don't tell everyone, but I'm actually glad I'm getting to learn how to use Outlook Express.

I do appreciate the offer for help. Remember that when I'm e-mailing you , "HELP." :D

I am so computer challenged, it is not funny.. Hopefully someone will help you Dayna.. Hugs.

With me here at the computer all day you wouldn't stand a chance of deleting anything because I would have already read it so that won't work. :D

I use Outlook never could get the hang of Outlook Express (I know they are basically the same)

I just connect to the provider and go for it. None of this AOL, MSN "stuff" (would have used another word but filters you know) To far out in the boonies for that anyway. We just dial up and use our browsers without any interface.

Dayna if you need explanations in non computer speak you let me know. We will muddle through it some how.

I don't think I "convinced" you to use Outlook Express. I was trying to find it on your computer. Anyway, I know in Outlook you can recall a message, but I'm not sure about Outlook Express.

Some days I want to install Eudora on my computer. It seems like every virus attacks Outlook Express in some way.

Barry, I know you didn't "convince" me. I was just looking for someone to blame. Blame shifting. The new sport of 2001. :D

I have NO IDEA what any of you just said! HAHA

I don't even know what ISP means?

I'm so computer-challenged, it's not funny!

Yes, it is! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA:D

Internet Service Provider, like AOL, Earthlink, etc.

AND....Miss Dayna.....I've never known you to say anything stupid.

Thanks for the votes of confidence, everyone. Steve, we need to hang out together a little more. Trust me you can't be this over-the-top outgoing and not put your size 9 1/2 footie in your mouth. :D :p

Thanks for the ISP lesson, Steve! Like Compuserve, right? I have Compuserve, so Compuserve is my ISP . Wow, I feel so smart. I used a computer word!:p :D
