I don't think I'm going to make my mini-goal.

I'm bummed.

I leave for WDW in just about 12 days. My goal was to lose 15 pounds by then. Well, I have lost 9 pounds and have been at a stand still for 2 weeks. I'm getting more unfocused about my plan as we get closer to our trip.
In addition, it's been raining here for what seems like forever (or at least a week) so I haven't been able to get out and walk. In fact we had almost two inches of rain just yesterday. And it's about 25 degrees colder than it should be here. I have been hit or mis on journaling.
I get really motivated right after my WW meeting, then it's all down hill.
Does anyone have any advice for getting out of this fog?

Oh, come on! You still have 12 days. Don't go surrendering when you still have plent of ammunition.

Step up your workouts and be extra careful about what you eat. You only have 6 pounds to go. Who knows what could happen in the next 12 days. The WHOOSH fairy could visit...it could happen, honest.

Don't go getting all sad and depressed. Don't give up. You can do this, I know that you can.

Get going kiddo and never, ever give up!

You could look at it this way- You have been at a stand still for 2 weeks!! You have to start losing any day now!!! AND YOU WILL!!!!!!! You can make this goal- Stick to what you are doing and DRINK LOPTS AND LOTS OF WATER!!! I have learned that for me- that is the key!
 
Being from PA also, I agree that it has been too cold and rainy for May!! It seems like it will never end. But now it is June, and the sun is shining (still a little cool).

Don't give up. You may surprise yourself!:D
 

{{Hugs}} Sue! Don't give up on yourself! Y O U are too important!! You have plenty of time to get closer or pass your goal! Stop making excuses and get moving!!! Grab a WATP tape or pilates or tae bo or Zumba or something so you have a backup plan for the rain. It is rainy and colder than normal practically everywhere for some reason :( but we can't let that stop us!

Zumba is another fitness tape I have seen at Target. Here is a link to their website....http://www.zumba-fitness.com/ I believe the workout is based on dancing. It looks like it might be fun!

First I know when we sent up goals and don't(or don't think we will)make them its natural to feel bummed - so go ahead feel bummed I'll wait.................................................................

Okay now that thats done lets look at the facts - You have lost 9lbs! WOW:earseek: And you still have 12 days to go - so what if you don't make 15lbs! I bet it will be more then 9lbs when you go!
Now get focused on journaling - I know when I don't journal everday I tend to forget what I ate and thats when I might start thinking I have more points left then I actually do. I sometimes find it a pain but the weeks I faithfully journal are the weeks I tend to do better at the scale. I know what you mean about the rain and unseasonably chilly weather - here in MA its been Icky - I find it hard to get motivated - but the easiest indoor inexpensive exercise I have found is taking a low step stool and marching off and onto it alternating legs do that at a good pace for 20minutes and you will sweat! - But stretch out first.

Most important when you feel uninspired or lack of motivation remeber your sucesses! And remeber all us on this board are here for you!:D
