We are not planning a trip this year because we are expecting another baby in August. DH thinks 2009 would be a good time to plan a big trip. I think I might go into to shock if I don't get a disney fix this year. I am secretly hoping to talk DH into a small Columbus day trip to disney for mnsshp. We did this last october and we all loved it. I am crazy to want to drive from NJ to FL just for a few days, with a newborn? I think DH is going to say I am crazy. What would you all do? Try to plan a small trip or give up and do it all in 2009?

I delivered via c-sect 7/27/07 and we drove from NJ on 9/15 for older DD's 5th bday. the baby was 7 weeks old I carried her in a sling. We had a great time. she still loves being in the sling.

Well, since we are almost EXACTLY in your boat- LOL- due in August- I'm going to wait until 2009 to go back. But with our size family and our location on the west coast, there is simply no way to do a cheap trip to WDW- so when we go, we go 'all out'. :) GL!

I'm in the same boat too! My husband and I have been planning this whole "we must go to Disney World at least every 2 years" thing and we went in '06 for our honeymoon, so '08 is time again! We were planning to go in September, but now our little mousketeer is due September 15th! So we're just heading to Disneyland for our anniversary in for a weekend and then planning on heading to WDW for the baby's first birthday in Sept. '09. I think you should go for it if you think YOU as a new mom can handle it!
