Jay, I know exactly what you are saying. I guess for some people stirring things up, making their opinions heard, whether there is any truth to it or not is not important, and hurting others is more important than anything else. I seem to remember quite a few problems here lately when things have been said, proven wrong, and still the person continues. Not suprised to see some of those names on this thread.
CC, posted her opinion...she is allowed to have one. She did not say that it was a rule, though in my opinion would be a good one. No one sees it in the guidelines, right? Maybe, just maybe if everyone wasn't trying to run this place the way they want things would be better? Maybe if the rules were upheld and the way things run not constanly challenged there would be less tension. Maybe, if we acted like adults and treated others like we would like to be treated, things would be better?
As for the DIScars, they were invented to eliviate the tension here on the CB. To make people laugh and joke around. People from everywhere were nominated, and people from all over the CB were asked to particiapte(from regular posters, to mods and webbies) We did games, and clothes to get everyone involved in it...It was done because once again the CB was fighting and acting like 12 year old fighting females....
About posts moved, again it was an administrative decision. Mods did what they were told. Some of us got some pretty nasty pms from some of you for doing what we were asked to do. I guess that a post moved is more important than treating others with respect.
I can tell you that I have been here a long time, and the CB is intimidating, even for me. I think that many people come and go on the CB, pointing out that one is missing...can hurt others. Just because a person is highly visible does not mean they are more important than anyone else....the lurker is no less important than the person who has 20K posts. You guys can all flame away, wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last, but remember that there is a real person on the otherside of the computer....
