Oldest DS found my name in his friend's text book today. Admittedly it was Latin which is a dead language, so the actual course can't really change very much but still It's creepy enough when his teachers ask him how I'm doing or tell him to tell his uncle his homework is late but the textbook (um yeah, I started my senior year 25 years ago last month )

The really scary and amazing part, when I took the course I was a junior and we were the first class to take Latin since the 60s so the books were about 25 years old when I used them.

Last year my dd came home with science books they were throwing away the teacher asked if anyone wants one.. so dd took one... Yep it was used by my class 20 years ago!!! I hope they were just cleaning out the closets and not using them!
