I don't know what to say about this!

Not sure that it applies here..but it made me think about something my son told me about. He is an officer for the NYPD in Manhattan. He is also a dog lover. He has always worked with pets as a kid..whether pet shops..or as he became older dog grooming. There isn't a breed of dog he doesn't know when he see's them. In any case..often people in the city have smaller pets..as they live in apartments. In any case one hot summer day he's in his cruiser and he sees a guy on a bike... with a very small dog(leashed) running along side..now the guy thinks he's being stopped because he riding a bike on the sidewalk..my son get's out and yells at the guy "What the heck(?) is the matter with you?...Pick that dog up!...it's a hundred degree's how'd you like it if I pulled you down the block on a leash?" Needless, to say the man picked up his pup and went on his way. When he returned to the car his partner was laughing..his butt off..Ahhh...New York's Finest..gotta love em!

Looks like a happy dog to me! I'd love a Segway, but until I get one I use my bike the same way with my 12 year old corgi. Several years ago I had to ride him all around 1600-1900 to get him tired. Now just one lap around 1700 has him panting, but he's happy. I'm hoping he hangs in there until our next trip at the end of April.

Uh oh! I've got a 2 1/2 year old corgi who NEVER gets tired. I was hoping it was just a "puppy phase" You mean she'll be like this her whole life?!

I think that guy is brilliant! My dog would love the speed she could go if I had a segway!

They see me roll on
My Segway
I know in my heart they think I’m white and nerdy

If you haven't seen Weird Al's 'White and Nerdy', here's a link for you:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xEzGIuY7kw. Almost as funny as the song and the Segway part is his dancing partner in front of the white screen (and there's a Disney connection).

I don't look at people on Segways the same again. We were at a mall last night where the security dude was on a Segway, had to sing the line to him. He must have liked it because he came back around 3 times (or he was trying to find a reason to arrest me :confused3 ).

Thanks for the picture, it's fun to see day to day life at the Fort!

::yes:: He has slowed down a very little in the past year or two, but otherwise he kept that corgi activity level most of his life!
Nice to see another corgi lover on this board!
