OKay, earlier this year my mom told me she applied for a job in TX. At first I was really really excited, I mean I've never lived out of CT. And then it seemed like she was never going to get the job, cuz they didnt call for months and months. Then while I was in Boston for a leadership thingy she got a call asking her to go down for an interview. Well she went down this Thursday and she got the job basically on the spot. I started having doubts because I have never been so far away from my mom before(i will still be going to school up in CT, if we move) and I wont even know what the house looks like till THanks giving, she wont beable to even go to my parent teacher conferences and stuff like that. But then I thought, i have so many people up here that love me and can take care of me when she is in TX and I need help. BUt then she started having the same doubts. I told her no I want her to take the job(one cuz shes making more money and 2 its what she loves to do in a climate she loves and she can retire there) She thinks im just saying that cuz I met a boy that lives about 2 hours away from where we will be moving, but I know that boys aren't forever, even though he thinks he is(it's cute, but I know it's not realistic) How can I convince my mom I don't want to move to TX just cuz of a boy, and convince her that I can't live near her my entire life, I need to grow up.
help!! I don't know what to do! I'm scared of moving but I am really excited at the same time!
