Hubby would like to live closer to the beaches. The oldest is now talking about going to the university of Fl just to be close to us. He graduates in 15 and we move in 16. So it would be great. I just have to get ds#2 on board with a Fl college. He talks about LSU.
Hope it all works out perfectly for you.
The two drawbacks to me ever moving to Florida are 1) not having my family nearby, and 2) not having the change of seasons. I like a
little bit of winter at Christmas time, just for atmosphere - and to keep me appreciative of warm days. I love crisp fall weather and the beautiful colors of the leaves. A lot of people who live in Florida visit TN to see the leaves in October. Even though I will be okay with not moving to Florida, I would like to be able to make one trip every season.
No mustard for me - on the banned list for me and I have never like the smell or even sight of it so not too surprised I am allergic to it.
I like salt but it is in clumps I will "thin" it out a little bit. Don't like them bare either.
I don't like it, either. Maybe just a slight, slight bit on a burger - I am okay with. Like, I don't special order a burger from a McDonald's or anything, but I have been known to open them up and scrape a lot of the yellow stuff off.
MeMom, Cynthia told me she was reading your TR and that you were at OKW (our new favorite resort) so I popped on over; I have a lot to catch up on, but I'll be back.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures and that you will have many future trips to Old Key West with family and friends.

It has a great atmosphere, and if you are one who likes to zip over to DTD in the evenings, it's a great place to be!
You are getting me excited for OKW. I have walk ed through a couple of times but neither time did it justice.
Always a little tired and a little tired and a little rushed so I am looking forward to having time there to stay.
Also after the run ....not sure how much moving I will be able to do.
It will be a nice place to relax in the sunshine.
And send us pictures.
Exciting stuff! Right in the middle of winter, too!
The bad part will be when you get off the plane back in Nashville!
WL really is a beautiful resort! I love the majestic rustic feel - and the gift shop there is awesome too!
Yay for getting to see the geyser! They have a schedule for when it goes off, right?
Yes, it goes off every hour starting at seven in the morning. I am not sure what time the last one is at night. Probably 9, 10, or 11?
Have you been to the Villas part? There are a lot of cozy sitting areas over there, too. The whole place is very nice.
Ah, a walk around the Wilderness Lodge -- perfect for this time of year!
Yep, I can picture a group of us sitting by one of the WL fireplaces drinking hot chocolate and talking.
My middle child just graduated from LSU 12/14. Of course it helps that we live in Baton Rouge. Let me know if you need any information. Most of Michelle's friends are not from here.
That would be cool if your kids became friends while discussing college.
From the beach to the wilderness. Not sure which I would like more. Amazing that you can go from one extreme to the other in just a bus ride.
I love that there is something for every taste in resorts. On top of that, you can travel to 11 countries in World Showcase! It's no wonder it's such a great vacation place!
I'm loving all of these Old Key West and Wilderness Lodge pictures! I have unfortunately never been able to visit either resort yet, so I love seeing the pictures. They are both so beautiful!
They are, and I hope you get to have some resort hopping time on future trips. Really, I could spend days just going from resort to resort and doing very little in the parks.
I would love to check out WL someday; it looks so pretty! And your pictures reminded me - I got pictures from Christine at MK last night, because she got to watch Wishes, and pictures and video from Katie at the same time, because she was in Epcot for Illuminations. Christine also said that she heard people saying it was cold...it was like 60. The timing was funny because yesterday felt particularly comfortable - it was in the upper 30's, instead of the high teens and low 20's we had a few days before (with the wind it felt like 6-8 degrees.) I'm such a planner that it's driving me absolutely up a wall not knowing exactly what to put on my packing list, especially since it's always soooooo cold when we leave for the airport. I pretty much have all bases covered right now.
I got the castle picture, too. I hope Katie and Christine will meet while they are there. Erica is there, too. Maybe they could all meet at once for a quick DIS hello.
I hope that temperatures for my March trip are nice and warm. I will be happy to pack just my capris and no pants.
