I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I know which bakery treat was Jill's. She and I have a weakness for the same thing.
I could go for one right now!!!

Ah! Yep, missed that this past trip, we didn't do the Jungle Cruise, so I didn't notice.

:rotfl: and I need it this evening!!! :goodvibes

We can't do it all every time. Here's my solution to that - let's spread the four parks out around the country, and then when we take a 5-7 day trip to a Disney Park, we can really do it all.

And let my clarify, by spreading around the country I mean within a 4-5 hour drive to the north, south, east, and west of Nashville. :)

Your bakery treats look so good!!!!

They do look good, don't they? A lot of sharing goes on among the group, since everything is so delicious.

I am hoping, for Jill's sake, that Main Street Bakery goes relatively unchanged by the Starbucks stuff. If the only change is just the type of coffee and the addition of some Starbucks sweets, I think she will be fine.

I'll be in MK one week from today! :cool1:

And you knew you could come here for some celebrating?

Okay, then.... :jumping1: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :cool1:

We are excited for you. You will send us some pictures, won't you?

as we wonder who these people are.

That would be a new group of cast members :)

Hi friends -

Prayers are needed tonight for the parents of two missing girls from our area. They went missing in July and today their remains were found. In situations like this I don't know what else to do but pray for their sweet souls and for strength for their families. We have such a good community of people here in DIStown, I know they'd appreciate our prayers.

Silly Dawn! Her Grandma turn will come in about 26 more years, if Seth is anything like Trent. About 22 years if he's more like normal people. ;)

Or more like 32 years if he's like his momma or 37 years if he's like his daddy! :rotfl2:

Congrats to Trent and Brandi!
I have that same non-refillable mug! I try to buy one a trip. I refuse to drink out of any non Disney cup.

Wow - I just saw this story on the news tonight. That is so tragic. I will say some prayers for them and their families. They haven't figured out what happened to them have they? Awfully sad.

It seemed to me the older Trent was getting the more particular and ornery he was getting, so I was afraid no one was ever going to be 'acceptable' in his eyes. I am grateful somebody finally is, and I am grateful, albeit very shocked, that he is the 'man of her dreams'!

I think I have told you before, my grandmother on my mother's side was 32 when I was born.

Congrats to Trent and Brandi!

Those mugs are a good deal. You get the drink and a souvenir for five bucks. :thumbsup2

So sorry to hear this. I have not heard the story. How old were the girls? Thoughts and prayers for the families and friends who are going through such grief.

As of this morning, no additional news about what exactly happened. They were 8 & 11 years old - it just breaks my heart.

The rumor/prevailing thought around here was that it was related to drugs. The dad of the older girl was set to plead guilty to some charges & name names, and the girls were taken the next day. That's speculation of course.

There are evil, sick people in this world.

I'm close to your area as well so have been watching this story. I cried when reading their remains were found yesterday. Heartbreaking and so scary as a parent. :sad1:

Sounds like a horrible situation. We don't know what those poor little girls saw in life and even until death. Yes, there are some people who have let evil take them over. It is sad for them and sad for the ones who are victims of their deeds. This world has so much hatefulness and sadness in it, so I am glad we have opportunities for fun and happiness to offset that when we can.

I completely agree!

you are so right Memom!
I remember thinking when it first happened that my girls are about that age and how horrified I would feel if ANYTHING ever happened to them. So it sort of hit close to home.
We had a police officer shot and killed a little north of here recently who left behind a wife and 4 kids under 8 and again I was reminded how fragile life is and how much some people like him sacrifice for the rest of us. Needless to say, prayers of thanks to them and military etc were said. I'm trying to think of a good way to honor them this Christmas. I might make donations instead of some gifts this year.

Well, Trent's a nice, attractive guy from what little I know of him. I'm sure he can be the man of someone's dreams! Just glad they are happy.

I was 34 when Seth was born and Ray was almost 39. We are late bloomers.

Thoughts and prayers come from many, I'm sure, and it does make us more appreciative for what we have. Sweet, innocent children are dealt their hands by the people before them, and unfortunately, sometime they don't have a chance to have many 'wins' in life.

I think the idea of making donations in lieu of a few gifts is a great idea. Our church helps support a children's home in Mexico, and I always feel privileged to be able to give to that. I feel like I can have a hand in helping those kids even though I am not part of the group that travels there. However, I dont have to look far in my situation to find needy kids, as the school I teach in has less than 5% of the kids who are NOT free lunch.

They are already getting frustrated with finding a place to have the wedding. They are finding out very quickly how much money it costs to do even something simple! I really hope they don't spend a ton on an event. I'd rather see them take a nice trip or put a good down payment on a house or furniture or whatever. It's her deal and her day, though, so whatever she wants will be what we do.

After everyone was full, we went to check out some master craftsmen.
