I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I posted a taste of my Disney pictures on facebook.

Counting the two resort mugs, that came with free dining and the extra MK mug I thought DH needed I came home with 5 mugs in all. I counted them as my trip souvenirs and enjoyed the drinks in the park mugs as a added bonus.

Awww...thanks so much for the support.
I knew coming on here tonight would make me feel better.
You all are the best DISfriends!

I am feeling better tonight. I guess it really sunk in this morning that we weren't going.

I don't want to give the impression that I am not grateful for all the trips we have made this last year.
This one was just special to me.

I do feel very lucky to get to go at all, so I will not wallow anymore.

I will be living through all of you, so I hope to see pics and pics of the DISmeet as well. :goodvibes

Uh oh. Fake gaming not going to cut it anymore for Brooklynn? Man, let me tell you, Joaquin is obsessed with games. It's definitely not a cheap habit. :lmao:

I'm pretty excited to see Art of Animation! I think my Mom and I are going to stop there to eat in November. The lunch / dinner menu looks pretty good.

Awww, Disney ducks by the pool. That's just so cute.

:lmao: That girls just laying around like "really? When are we going to go?" That's hilarious.

I can't believe that this time tomorrow night I will be in my room in the Little Mermaid building. I wish I would still be there for the big Pop Century meet, but we are headed home on the 6th.

I won't forget, the solarium is yours! It's such a light and cheery place....
You picked the prettiest spot in the resort!

Wow! it looks a little like Christmas at the Beach Club. It's nice to have friends at the top.

We found some good ones, for sure! :thumbsup2

What a fun time at Beach Club! Anita is so sweet to get the girls those gifts!! And Marc is so nice to provide his taxi service!

I may be there in March with y'all. It would prob be less than a full week, but I'll see what I can do!!

They picked us up and/or took us home 3-4 times during the trip. It was very nice. ::yes::

As fall approaches and the thoughts of winter begin to creep in, I am already looking forward to the spring trip! :cool1:

Hey I know this place!!!

I bet you do! We'd like to go north one of these days and see some things up that way. Who knows what year that will be, though? Disney seems to have a monopoly on our travel money right now.

I saw your pictures, and I greedily wanted more. ;) So glad you guys got to go!

Well, looks like you and four of your favorite people can enjoy drinking from happy mugs now.

I am glad Lexi wasn't too disappointed. That would have made it harder. I bet you will get to add days in January, when work is slower. :thumbsup2

We were headed to the pool, so you know two minutes seemed like two hours to them. :goodvibes

I don't like the noise of arcades, so I don't frequent them, but I'm sure I will contribute a few tokens to the girls being able to play them in the years ahead. I have played those kind of games a handful of times in my whole life, and I am pretty sure I set records for getting eaten or smashed or whatever the fastest of anyone around. :crazy2:

Can we make arrangements for a quick hello on the 5th or the 6th before you leave? We will be getting to Pop for check-in in the mid-morning of the 5th. Do you know what your plans are for that morning?

I just love that room. It's bright, and I love the theme, of course. It's a great place to hang out with friends and family - lots of space and sitting areas. On pretty days, it's usually pretty empty, but I bet it gets crowded on rainy days. I have always wanted a sunroom, and I would love, love, love to have something like that at my house. Actually, it wouldn't be terribly hard to make my big den, which is a converted two car garage, into a sunroom. Where the garage doors were, the walls and doors could be taken out and exchanged for all glass. Still, it would be more money than I will ever have, so I will have to be satisfied with visiting my sunroom when I am in Disney World. :cool2:

I am not sure what we are doing that morning, but we will be going to MNSSHP that night. We are at AOA for just one night before moving to Old Key West.

We can PM numbers, if you want to, and see if we can cross paths for a minute sometime during those two days that we overlap.

It's morning here, too! :cool1:

I'm heading out to church in a few minutes, and then Jill's bunch is coming after to give Ben Dog to John's parents so he doesn't have to be boarded during the trip.

Next Sunday, I can tell you Good Morning from Disney World! :woohoo:

Well...she was a little bit upset last night. She took the news better than I expected.

I think my Boss was more disappointed for us. He knows how much we love our trips.
Even though I get teased tremendously at work, I know it's all in good fun.
The other day my co worker was saying..."you know you are addicted to Disney when you have license plate covers and stuffed animals in your car." :rotfl:
My reply was "yes I do and I wouldn't have it any other way!" :rotfl2:

I got Lexi's mood to lighten up last night by talking about the January trip.
I brought up all the cool new things we will be seeing like the new Test Track (Chevrolet Design Center), more of Fantasyland and having diner at Be Our Guest.

She is excited about staying at Art of Animation.
Her number one choice would be Lion King. Maybe as a Christmas surprise I can book a night in one of those rooms for the end of the trip.
I am sooo excited to be staying in the Mermaid room!!!
I just bought her an Ariel tote bag to fill with goodies for her.

I am still deciding how long I want to go in January.
I already purchased return flights for Jan.10 cause they were an awesome deal.

Is today 'finish packing day' in your house?
Can you believe you will already be there this time next week! :yay:

The Beach Club is gorgeous! I love the solarium too!
Too bad I can't join you for a DISmeet there in March. That would be such a pretty spot to hang out in. :thumbsup2
March trip is out for me cause we are going to Disneyland in the spring.

I guess we won't get to meet up again until next year for NYE. :sad1:
If Ms Anita Wig'd is staying at the Beach Club next Christmas maybe we can all book a diner at Cape May or something?
That is too far away to plan for now. Just a thought. ;)

Word is Disney heard about your impending arrival and opened up the Storybook Circus area today to make sure it is in tip-top shape for you!

Also, please say a prayer for one of my former student's family and friends. She was killed in a car accident on her way from a homecoming party last night. I no longer teach at the school, but a lot of students I keep in contact with are upset. They seem to lose 1-2 friends a year to accidents, but nothing ever convinces them that things need to change. I know a lot comes from the poverty and growing up on a reservation, but it is hard to watch to these amazing kids go through events like this. So hug your families close because you never know when a happy event is going to sour:hug:

It is not uncommon for Anita to say, "Oh, I found these on sale, so I bought 87 of them."

June2012Part1915.jpg

:rotfl2: That made me laugh!

Hello MeMom, I am a new follower of your trip reports ( I started during the latest grandchild's birth, and Jill's unfortunate trip back to the hospital), so I have two questions...1) Do people really live at the Beach Club? Or is it a joke? Or DVC "welcome home" living?
2) Can Anita be my friend? :) Thanks, love youse guys already, feel like I know them all! Ded

LOL Deb not Ded

A few updated behind, but I very much enjoyed getting caught back up. I'm also very excited for you that you will be in the World in just a few short days. I hope everyone is getting packed up.

As much as I think the suites are cool, and I am guessing we may be moving up to suites sometimes, even on girl trips, I still like rooms that open to the outside, or if they don't, I need a balcony. The AoA suites have neither, so that is the one big drawback for me. We might try a Music suite before we try on AoA suite. I don't know for sure. It's been a while since we've had a girl trip, and I am ready for one again. Sometimes it is nice to have my girls all to my self without any boys around. There is a lot more laughter and a lot less drama. ::yes::

I have in no way finished packing, but I have made a very good start. :thumbsup2

We are planning on going next Christmas. That's why we are not making our usual summer trip. It's going to be very different, but we are hoping that with the Vero time, the day at Sea World, and the DIS meet at Dollywood, we will not have 'the shakes' from Disney World withdrawal. ;)

We are excited to see anything new that has been opened since July. :goodvibes

Your school family is in our prayers. The same thing happens here - teenagers are lost in car accidents - and it hits the whole community. You just have to hope that at least some of the kids really do realize that life is precious.

:rotfl2: That made me laugh!

That made me laugh too!:rotfl2:

The truth.
Nothing but the truth.

I think Marc and Anita take about 4-6 trips a year, and many of those are at Beach Club. They own a lot of DVC points, so we tease them about it being their home. :goodvibes

We did talk to a lady once at Fort Wilderness as she was out straightening up some of her Christmas decorations. Her family had a fabulous motor home and a yard full of fun Disney Christmas things. She told us they stayed at the campgrounds about 5-6 months out of the year! :faint:

So glad you feel at home here. I think you will meet a lot of nice DIS people as you get to know them all. There are some who used to be regulars who are just tied up with life too much these days to get to visit often - babies, jobs, weddings, newly-married, college, etc. We love seeing them when they get to drop by. Old friends and new, DIStown is a nice place to be. :)

I am really glad that Jill is off right now, because it makes the job of packing less stressful for her. She usually has to do all the packing in the few hours she has left between a full-time job and all of the girls' activities. Being home with Sophie right now, she can do it in spurts in a more relaxing way, so that's nice.

Caught up again!!! The fair last week has put me behind.

:cheer2:Yay, you will be in Disney later this week!!! Such a fun time to be at Disney. I love the MK decorated for fall. Would love to get back there for the fall but it will be a few years.

I think we will have to give the Pepper Market buffet a try in November. My boys would love that. I love Coronado Springs. Tom, not so much. He thinks it is too big and too much walking for his liking. I think he just didn't like it as that was the trip my mom went with us and he was miserable.

Poor Bella on time out. Those pictures are just precious. I love the one of her looking around the chair.

Oh, I can't wait to see your swim pictures at the BC. I snagged us two nights there in November at the end of our stay. :cheer2: I am super excited as we have never stayed there and it looks amazing. Hoping beyond hope it will be warm enough to enjoy Stormalong Bay.

Did Anita snag that DHS for $15? Did I read that right? If so, she is going to have to take me shopping. I paid full price for that thing that Jeremy doesn't even touch right now. :confused3 I am definitley not the shopper!

Brooklynn loved playing with this.

June2012Part1921.jpg

What game is that? i am gonna have to download that for Hollie! She would love it!!!

Haha I love the picture of Anita carrying out the toys. I especially love the quote underneath it ;)

Relaxing days in Disney are just as fun as park days I think. What a fun place to spend the day! That Fairy Godmother sounds pretty great. :goodvibes
