I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I love Bella's "we don't like her, right?" - she is too cute!! :goodvibes

Those Disney Precious Moments figurines are really adorable! I'm not usually too big a fan of them, but I will admit I was REALLY hoping you were going to write that Jill picked one of them up! (The one with the Mickey Bar, to be specific! :thumbsup2)

Oh no, I hope the rain left you guys alone soon!!

You and Jill are so talented with the girls' brithday parties! Can't wait for the final result!

Brooklynn's Animal Kingdom party is a perfect theme for her!

You and Jill will make it so much fun and I can't wait to see your decorations & games.

You can tell Bella that Lexi doesn't like the "ha ha girl" from Little Mermaid either. ;)

I'm getting closer to our trip...in a couple days we will be in single digits.

Oh...you may have noticed I got rid of the September ticker. :sad1:
Yes, another trip has been cancelled....too many reasons to list.
I would have mentioned it sooner but I didn't want to complain when Jill was going through something so much more important.
It did help me focus on what's really important in life, so thank you.

Disney trips are 'blessings" no matter when or how many, and we are already so fortunate, you have taught me that.

Love "ha ha girl." So cute!!

I have never seen the Little Mermaid show. Or the Lion King show. :sad2: Perhaps I will fix that this Oct. They certainly get rave reviews!

Love that Brooklyn is having an AK themed bday party and of course look forward to "participating" via DIS town. :)

Sorry I've been MIA- I was in Disney. Sorry to hear Jill isn't feeling well. I hope the next few couple of weeks go by nice and quick, so you can hold little Sophie. I LOVE DHS and TSM is my favorite ride.

A little late to the party, but I was in Disney. Am I excused? :rotfl2::goodvibes
Sorry to hear Sophie is giving Jill a hard time. Hope she rests and stays at comfortable as possible! We visited your POP this trip, and it felt so familiar even though it was my first time there thanks to your pics.
I can never resist not doing anything on the first night. We partied until 2:30 AM on the first night this trip.
Bella is too funny about the 'ha ha girl!' Love the precious moments!

I think Jill would be tearing up some things somewhere if she had to wait until September 25th!
-I agree! I wouldn't want her to have to wait that long!

-I think both the precious moments and the small world are great ideas for a nursery! I really do like the theme that Jill ended up going with, though :)

Hi Guys! Just got back from 6 days at Disney! We stopped by AoA today on the way out for the Lion King Wings opening day. I put the pics up at photobucket. Here is a link if anyone is interested
http://photobucket.com/lionkingaoa
My kids have decided we have to stay at AoA next trip. Hope all is well. Will catch up MeMom as soon as I can. Hope your school days are going well and that Jill is getting some rest. Saw on FB about Miss. Sophies due date being upped. Hope Jill is doing ok!

I feel like I really should see Voyage of the Little Mermaid now, it looks like a really good show. And I don't know about everyone else, but Bella's "Ha Ha Girls" are pretty awesome in my opinion

Wow, I never knew they had Precious Moments in Disney. My mom used to have a ton of those when I was younger. Oh, my childhood :goodvibes

Love the little ducks! I think it's awesome how comfortable they are with getting close to people. I actually saw a girl catch a wild duck this weekend, it was pretty cool to see.

Hope this was the last of the rain for you guys! Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

"Haha girls"! I love it! :rotfl:

I'm leaving for my week down the Cape with Charles and his family tomorrow and may or may not end up bringing my laptop (I probably will just because I NEED to compulsively check the grades for my online class...it's a sickness.) I'll have my phone, of course, so I'll definitely be checking Facebook for any Sophie updates from Jill!

We saw Little Mermaid this summer as well using a fast pass. Harper loved it, but not at much as Beauty and the Beast, I think....

I think it might have been the dark that made her a little nervous at times.

Are you home this week getting rested up after your first full week with kids?

Do you know I have never seen Little Mermaid. With the boys we just have never done it.

Aw I collect Precious Moments.:goodvibes Well I have not gotten any new ones in a LONG time but they are just so cute.

And yes I have heard "Tickle Your Fancy".:)

Have a great day!!

You need a girl trip! :dance3: You can enjoy Little Mermaid without thinking you are keeping the guys from some manly activity. ;)

Jill has several Precious Moments figurines. I'll have to put them all together sometime and take a picture of them.

Good news! Will continue to keep Jill and Sophie in my prayers.

Poor Bella and the villians. Too cute what she said!

Cute figurine pictures.

Thanks. Her workers took her out to eat last night and gave her some gifts. She was tired after a long day, but she enjoyed being out for some free/fun time with them.

That Bella is a mess. ;) She's really got one of those cute personalities just naturally. Already, people just take to her. I hope she stays that way through life.

We have never seen the Little Mermaid show either. It has just never been high on our list for some reason.

You guys should see it. It's not but about 15 minutes long, and the music is good.

And if you are hot, there's a nice, cool mist at the beginning. :)

Glad to hear the good news about Jill and Sophie!
I am going to make a point to see The Little Mermaid on my next trip! It is one of my favorite movies!

You've never been??? I am being surprised here by reading how many people have not done this.

Yes, we love the movie, too. It was one that Brooklynn got stuck on for a loooong time, and she/we watched it many times over. I should make that many, many, many times over!

Ahh... Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I remember standing in some long lines for that one :). Now that the boys are older, we only go if it's late and no line.

Going back a few, I do love "one man's dream"...you always see something you missed before.

We don't stand in line for it, either - not more than a few minutes - but it is a cute show, and we try to catch it every trip.

There's a lot to learn in One Man's Dream. I like reading all of the little snippets about Walt's life.

I laughed when you mentioned first timers and the "mist" in Little Mermaid. It seemed like we had ridden every boat ride and every ride where you get wet in the first two days of our trip. My brother made a comment about everything in Disney involving water. And then we got wet watching the show. He couldnt believe it. It was pretty funny!!

There are a lot of water features in Disney attractions. The one I wish they could add is having a mist come up on your feet as you go over the waves in Soarin'. ::yes::

I haven't seen VotLM since 2005! I told Jared he was going to have to sit it through it for me this time :thumbsup2

Love the Jim Shore pieces

Going back for a nap while it was raining was probably a good idea, I always nap well when it rains!

She thought she might see a Jim Shore piece she could work around, too, but for whatever reason, she just felt the Little Mermaid calling at some point during the trip.

At least if Jared doesn't like it, it's a short show. ;) Your mom will think it's cute, I bet.

We watched VofLM this past trip. We had not seen it since 2009 or so.

So cute how Bella calls the villains the "ha ha girls."

I hope Reid wasn't too tortured by the girliness.

I know it's hard on Jill but it will be good for Sophie to keep cooking. I pray that she takes it easy on her momma over the next few weeks!

I saw Little Mermaid for the first time in October. I was definitely one of the people oohing over the mist. Such a great show! I can't wait to introduce my crew to it on our next trip! Aileen loves mermaid, Bastian, and Flounder. I think the boys will get w kick out of the effects.

I hope the sign isn't ruined or can be easily remade. I am looking forward to pics as I love your parties and love all the great ideas!

I hope Aileen loves it! She may need to hold you when the Ha Ha Girl comes out, though.

I did the sign over, and even though I did it a different way, it looks okay from a distance. Close up, you'll see the marker marks, which I don't like, but it's really truer to the color like this anyway. The red roll paper I had was too dark. Anyway, I am going with this, and when you see it in pictures, you should at least get the general idea you are standing outside Pizzafari. :thumbsup2 If you hate it, just lie and tell me you ike it.

We enjoy the VOTLM show. The mist can be good if you're hot, or bad if you're cold! Haven't seen it in a couple visits - we've not gone to DHS the last time or two. Definitely going in October!

I do remember "tickle your fancy" too. You just don't hear that one much anymore.

I would say we spend the least amount of time at Hollywood, but we don't skip it completely. Some of our favorites are there, and Great Movie Ride is a must for Brooklynn these days.

Definitely don't hear 'tickle your fancy' in this era. I guess that means I am officially old.

We love Little Mermaid in our house, so we've seen it many times and probably will this time too. Can I ask why "ha ha girls"? :confused3 You've probably told, but somehow I've missed it and I'm sure there must be a good story behind it.

Those ducks seem pretty happy in that rainy weather. And yes, I've heard and used the phrase, "tickle your fancy" many times. :thumbsup2 It's a good one.

You know so many times the villains come out shouting 'Ah ha ha ha!' about something during the movies. I think the first time she called a villain a Ha Ha Girl was at MNSSHP when Maleficent was speaking. After that, anyone that laughs that sinister laugh is a Ha Ha Girl. :rotfl:

If you saw the comment in the previous post, I guess that means you are old, too. :duck: (What is that you are throwing at me, anyway? Looks like a strawberry, but why would someone throw a strawberry?)

Wow you got some really great pictures in the Little Mermaid. It's so cute what Bella says in there. I'm sure she'll be brave for Sophie some day.

Loved the picture with ducks all in row. I'm sure they were loving all the water.

I can very much hear her telling Sophie, 'It will be okay, Sophie. The Ha Ha Girl is just bee-tend.' princess:

Glad everything looks good with Sophie! I know Jill is miserable, but I agree that she needs to stay as long as possible for her lungs to mature. I know how it is to be miserable in pregnancy. I had both my children during residency. I was 7 months pregnant with Cooper when I did the cardiac ICU working 30 hours in a row every 4th dait with 10 hour shifts between. Not fun! Jill needs to take it easy as much as she can.
I love VoTLM. The rain is my favorite part. The boys humor me with a visit to the show each trip. They are at the age that they do not like "girl stuff". LOL.

It's nice to have our sweet doctor friend reassuring us. We know it is best for Sophie to stay put until she is good and ready, and we don't want her to have to stay in the hospital or have any complications at all. It's just hard on Jill, but she's made it through another work week now, so she only has a few more to go. She may go to half days soon.

Nice of your boys to let you see Mermaid. They love their Mommy!

I'm new to the disboards and I've enjoyed your trip report so far, I can't wait to hear more!

I'm sending good thoughts to you and all of your girls :)

Wlcome to the DIS family! :cheer2: You will find many nice people here. This report has not been moving too fast lately, as school has really taken up so much of my time. I'll try to put a lot of pictures up when I do have time. :)

Thank you for your good thoughts for my girls. We will all be glad when Sophie is here and Jill is beginning to feel normal again. :thumbsup2

Me too Luckily our Vermont trips aren't exactly high energy vacations, so it wasn't a huge deal. If she had the surgery 4 weeks before a Disney trip that would've been a big problem

I'm done with my summer class! :cool1: Now I get two and a half weeks off, and then I go back to school full time on August 27th.

Enjoy your free time! :cool1:

Can't wait to see Brooklynn's birthday party pictures. I know it will be great.

It's going to be small. Two of her good buddies can't come, as their cousin is having a party at the same time, and they skipped the cousin's party last year to come to Brooklynn's. They are taking her out for a fun day today, though, and she is excited about that. That means there will be only a hnadful of kids at the AK party, but with Jill being like she is right now, that really works out fine. She's just having some very close friends she feels comfortable with, so she doesn't feel like she has to play hostess so much as she can just be herself.

"Ha Ha Girls" :lmao: That is hilarious!! I love that show. It's got cool effects, air conditioning and catchy songs - what more can you ask for?

And yes I have heard of the phrase, in fact I often say it myself! As in, reading MeMom and Jill's TRs tickles my fancy! And those figurines tickle my fancy! I have a few of them myself! (I've taken to those lately rather than the....brace yourself...snow globes!)

The girls look so cute in their matching nighties on the balcony! Rainy days always make for great naps!

I do love the music in Little Mermaid!

Snow globes??? They do not tickle my fancy at all!!!

Yes, rainy Disney afternoons make for good sleep. ::yes:: Of course, at that point it had been raining solid the whole time we had been there, so that was not so wonderful.

I love Bella's "we don't like her, right?" - she is too cute!!

They do have some adorable Precious Moments figurines, and there are boy ones as well as girl ones. I love them, but they can put a dent in your wallet, too. ;)

You and Jill are so talented with the girls' brithday parties! Can't wait for the final result!

I hope it doesn't rain, so we can have things outdoors. It will be too messy to have the giraffe come inside. :goodvibes

Brooklynn's Animal Kingdom party is a perfect theme for her!

You and Jill will make it so much fun and I can't wait to see your decorations & games.

You can tell Bella that Lexi doesn't like the "ha ha girl" from Little Mermaid either.

It did help me focus on what's really important in life, so thank you.

Disney trips are 'blessings" no matter when or how many, and we are already so fortunate, you have taught me that.

Animal Kingdom is 'spot on' perfect for her! I have thought of a million things we could do, but they'd cost a million dollars. We'll just have some decorations in the way of AK signage, and the kids will enjoy the backyard safari. You don't know how badly I wish I could have a zoo bring over some real animals. :thumbsup2

Sorry about September, but you have several trips still in the planning! :dance3:

Disney trips are definitely blessings! Heaven on Earth to me.

You need to remedy the Little Mermaid thing, but for sure see Festival of the Lion King!

We wish DIStown could come to the party!

Sorry I've been MIA- I was in Disney. Sorry to hear Jill isn't feeling well. I hope the next few couple of weeks go by nice and quick, so you can hold little Sophie. I LOVE DHS and TSM is my favorite ride.

Toy Story is probably Jill's favorite overall ride, too. There are some really good things in Hollywood. I like Tower of Terror and Star Tours. Mermaid is cute, and GMR is classic. Muppets is fun. Fantasmic is an awesome way to end a day!

A little late to the party, but I was in Disney. Am I excused?
Sorry to hear Sophie is giving Jill a hard time. Hope she rests and stays at comfortable as possible! We visited your POP this trip, and it felt so familiar even though it was my first time there thanks to your pics.

Bella is too funny about the 'ha ha girl!' Love the precious moments!

I have not closed a park at 3 a.m. yet, and since they've cut the EMH, I guess I never will. I could make it to 2:00, though. I might do that when my friend and I go next spring. We could close a park and then sleep late the next day. Well, she could sleep late, and I could go do whatever when I got up several hours earlier than late.

-I agree! I wouldn't want her to have to wait that long!

-I think both the precious moments and the small world are great ideas for a nursery! I really do like the theme that Jill ended up going with, though

Sophie's room is cute. :goodvibes

Cool! I saw some pictures, but I will go see yours, too. Last time I saw Rafiki, he was half wrapped in plastic!

School really zaps my time now, and it probably will until the October break. My head and eyes hurt at night, so I don't want to be on the computer. :sad1:

I feel like I really should see Voyage of the Little Mermaid now, it looks like a really good show. And I don't know about everyone else, but Bella's "Ha Ha Girls" are pretty awesome in my opinion

You will have to take a picture of the Precious Moments things your mom has. I'd love to see them.

You should see Little Mermaid. Put it on your list. It doesn't have to be high on the list, but if you can see it, it is cute, and it is very short, so you won't be sacrificing too much thrill ride time.

FB will know anything first, so that works.

We saw Little Mermaid this summer as well using a fast pass. Harper loved it, but not at much as Beauty and the Beast, I think....

I think it might have been the dark that made her a little nervous at times.

Are you home this week getting rested up after your first full week with kids?

Beauty and the Beast is a step up, I think. Bigger stage, longer performance, and the colors are brilliant. I bet the dark is a factor for some little ones.

After catching up on responses here, I am off to finish party stuff. I am hoping tonight to have time to put up another set of pictures here.

There is a wedding in DIStown today, everyone!
Our own tinkgurl is marrying the man of her dreams. We've met him, and we approve of her choice. ;)

They are headed to the lovely Polynesian Resort for their honeymoon. Nice!
Wishing them the best that life has to offer!!!

Awww, Congratualtions Tinkgirl :bride: How exciting for her! Hopefully we'll get to read a trip report when she gets back!

VotLM is a lot of fun, we don't do it nearly often enough.

I also think that those precious moments figurines are very cute, I just wish I had somewhere to put them. I think I need a bigger house! :goodvibes

Congrats to Tinkgurl, I hope you are having a magical day!

Congratulations tinkgurl! That will be one magical Disneymoon at the Poly, very exciting. Best wishes to her and her husband! :mickeyjum

Congrats to tinkgurl and Fiance!! Hope it is a beautiful day, wonderful wedding and magical honeymoon! pixiedust:
