I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

I did read something on that, they are having snow and I know some different characters were out for the marathon today!

It was amazing, though, that the 30th is the last day of Christmas at Epcot and on the 31st all the major decorations are down. They must work like heck all night to get all that down and the party stages up. ( when my son went to the music workshop, the studio is behind Italy and he saw the middle and bottom sections of the tree laying in the back. )

Beautiful pictures of the CBR; we've visited a few times and it is pretty.

I hope the clouds don't dampen your evening plans.

Hi MeMom. Just getting caught up. I have been away from the Dis for a while & your TR was the first one I got caught up on.

I tend to take a lot of the salt off those pretzels as well.

That bus driver was so great to pay attention to Brooklynn that way.:thumbsup2 What a great CM (compared to the unhappy looking ones at the dock in the other pics you have).

Love seeing pics from all the different resorts.

So now I will stay caught up!!:goodvibes

You and Brooklynn have been making a nice resort tour - can you give a rough estimate of about how much time you spent at each resort? I honestly can't remember if this is over two days or all the same day!

CBR is so pretty and colorful!!

Any of us Disney geeks would think it was cool to see the trees or decorations behind the scenes. :thumbsup2 I would have snapped a picture, of course. ;)

I hope one of these limited magical moments happens during the March trip in one of the parks I happen to be in. Kay won't have a hopper, so I won't be able to 'chase' anything I hear of. I'll just have to hope we get lucky enough for it to be in our park, or maybe we'll know about it before we get there and can tweak our schedule, if I need to.

The pool is great, Calypso Trading is a great gift shop, and the food court is so nicelt themed with good food. We have eaten there many times. I still want to wander around more of the room areas. Also, the lobby is in a totally separate building, and I have not been in it yet. I am hoping to check that off my list in March.

It was beginning to rain as we approached Old Port Royale. We will see what those clouds do tonight. :)

Good to see you, friend! Even if you are another de-salter.... :rolleyes1

So true about those castmembers - we saw both extremes.

This is two days. We did AKL and CBR on the same day. I'd say we might spend an hour and half, but probably no longer than two at each resort. Fort Wilderness would be an exception. We can easily spend 2-3 hours there.

Too bad we don't have the colorful buildings and cool music in everyday life, huh?

Yesterday was a rainy, rainy, rainy day here in our area. I enjoyed having a potato soup lunch with Trent, Brandi, and Drew. After they had all gone off to other things, I snuggled up with pen, paper, and 'puter and did some planning for the March trip.

Although the thought of springtime in Florida keeps me going right now, there is still a bit of sadness, as I will not have my favoritest girls in the world with me. I will sure miss Jill, for starters, as we share our love for Disney in a big way. I will also miss my little girls - Bella padding her way into my room early in the morning to snuggle with me (or Jill calling me as I am out walking telling me that Bella 'needs' me) and watching Brooklynn magnetize toward stuffed animals and jewelry stations. So far, my Disney history with Sophie is pretty much just watching her hang out on Jill's carrier, but I will miss her, too. I love to smooch her little cheeks. When I am without them, I find myself, out of habit, getting off of a ride and heading to the stroller parking area. I predict I will do that a few days before I remember that there will be no strollers this time.

My plans, as of now, are as follows:

Wednesday, March 20 - arrive around early lunchtime, head to Epcot, make a loop around World Showcase going from France around and back to International Gateway, walk around to Boardwalk, over to Yacht Club, and then back to Beach Club (3 sets of resort pictures knocked out on day one )

Thursday, March 21 - Animal Kingdom, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Downtown Disney, back to Beach Club

Friday, March 22 - Cape May breakfast with Marc, Anita, and Harper, Magic Kingdom, stay until flag retreat at 5, go over to Grand Floridian for pictures of the new kiddie splash area, then to Poly to eat Captain Cook's and sit on the beach, back to Magic Kingdom for the evening

Saturday, March 23 - Epcot again, this time for Soarin', Living with the Land, The Seas, possibly Sum of all Thrills, Test Track, loop around World Showcase from Mexico side back around to International Gateway, meet up with Brook's family at some point, try to visit a resort either midday or just when we are finished for the day, this could possibly be catching a bus to POFQ and walking down to POR to see Yehaa Bob for a few minutes, then making our way back to Beach Club

Sunday, March 24 - have luggage transferred to Pop, open Hollywood Studios, check into Pop midday, probably walk over to Art of Animation, catch a bus back to Hollywood for the evening, see late Fantasmic

Monday, March 25 - most likely Animal Kingdom again, to Caribbean Beach, then home to Pop or to DTD for a little while, then back to Pop

Tuesday, March 26 - most likely Magic Kingdom again, boat over to WL at some point

Wednesday, March 27 - check luggage in at luggage services, go to whatever park Kay wants to repeat or just go to DTD, if we have not been able to really hit it good during the trip

Any questions, comments, or suggestions?

There is something brewing for Jill, though, that will help me be able to go and have fun without so much guilt. Since John is working in California some right now, she might get to go to Disneyland later this month. :woohoo: They have laid it out on paper, and as soon as they get the official word that John's crew is going back, I think they are ready to hit SUBMIT on the whole thing. The other cool thing about this is that she plans to make it a surprise for the girls, so that will be exciting! :dance3: Right now, they have the plans and the desire, so we shall see what the next week holds as far as what is happening on John's job front. The scary thing about this is that Jill will be taking all three girls on the flight out there by herself. Brooklynn knows the drill at the airports now, and she can be a big help, but I hope there will be a kind soul (maybe an airport agent) at security who will help her out. That's the wackiest part of things. Once through security, it's all good. Except for this time, when one has to go to the bathroom, everyone will be going to the bathroom....and every thing - carry-ons, strollers, etc. :scared1:  We will have to pray for her during the security line to boarding time. I'm extremely excited for her to get this opportunity, and I hope that in all the chaos, she is able to bring us back some good pictures. I'm nervous for the flight there, but she is an amazing organizer and awesome Mommy, so I think she will get through it as well as anyone could.

Anyway, that trip is in the planning stage, and we'll let you know as soon as she does if it is a GO. :thumbsup2 Remember that it is a secret - :ssst: - so if you talk to Brooklynn or Bella, mum's the word. I think it's okay if you slip around Sophie. She's pretty good at not telling things. :cutie:

Okay, that's it for now. Have a good Monday, everyone! Hope thoughts of bright, warm, sunny days at bustling parks and beautiful resorts help to carry you through this cold, winter day. :sunny:

Your plans look great for your March trip. I know you will miss your girls but hopefully you will have a great time. You cannot loose at BC. My favorite place!!

I will keep fingers crossed that Jill & girls will get to go to Disneyland. That would be so great for them. Anxious to hear how all of that goes.

Have a great Monday.

Your plans look great!! Lots of resort-looking time, which I love as well. There's so much to see at all the resorts.

I hope Jill & crew gets to CA - they'll have a blast!!

I LOVE the look of CBR. I am kind of kicking myself for not staying there in October. Next time for sure! :)

Your March plans look great! It sure will be different with no Jill and girlies. Just go into it with a different mind set and it will be a great trip! You also will enjoy your next trip with your girls that much more! :thumbsup2 I hope Jill's Disneyland plans work out! How fun! :)

Beach Club is fabulous. I can see why people get spoiled to it. ::yes:: It's going to be way cool to walk from Beach Club to Epcot those two days! :cool1:

Maybe by the end of this week, we will know about Disneyland. This is going to be one very short wait from plans to take-off!

I went back and added CBR for AK day and WL for MK day. Now, if I can just fit in a stop at OKW and the All-Stars, I'll be happy. :goodvibes

I am hoping maybe next summer, we can stay most of the trip at Pop and then add a couple of CBR days at the end. If not next summer, eventually it will happen.

I know I have to go into it with a different attitude, and I will be silly giddy when it is time to roll out, but the planning makes it very real that they won't be there, so it brings a touch of sadness. I'm sure there will be sad moments in the middle of the trip, too, when I reach down to grab a little hand and there is not one there.

The plans for March look great! It's so awesome that you get to stay at Beach Club. :)

Disneyland?! That would be so amazing!

It's cold and wet here. The weather man says we won't see the sun until Friday. You bright WDW pictures help to cheer me up.

Fingers are crossed that Jill and the girls make it to Disneyland. I'm sure they would love the surprise. If anyone can fly with 3 girls Jill can.

Oh, so excited for Jill and hoping that it is a Go. Right now we are planning to head there in Thanksgiving. It is all new territory to me so I feel so lost.

I think you have some great plans for March. Really looking forward to seeing some Flower and Garden pictures. We had so much fun there last year.

What a great time you and Brooklyn are having resort hopping. Love all your pictures.

We got the rain yesterday but the cold has now set in. Hope you are having a great day at school.

It;s so exciting that your wait is almost over! You and Katie will have a blast. I hope the weather is nice and warm. This sure would be a good week to be there, according to what I have seen.

I am really excited! There will be lots of pictures going on to Facebook, I'm sure. I'll text you some, too, of course.

That is SO awesome you get to stay at BC in March! It's my dream resort!

By the grace of some good friends, we get to stay at Beach Club. We have to go back to reality - Pop - at the end of the trip. ;) That's okay, though. We love Pop, of course!

She said John will have four California trips in the next few months, so surely it will work on one of those times for Jill to go.

Cold here, too. Sleet and snow, albeit light.

I agree; if anyone could breeze through a flight alone with three kids, Jill can. :thumbsup2 I do wish I could go with her far enough just to get them on the plane, though.

It will all be new for her, but certainly exciting. Carsland and Bugs' Land look so fun in pictures.

I will be taking a bazillion flower pictures! And possibly a palm tree picture or two. :goodvibes

I have had what I guess is a sinus headache all weekend, and it was a cold dreary Monday. Not one bit fun, but we might get an ice day tomorrow. Even if we don't, I will be home anyway. A church friend's dad died, so if the weather is not bad, I will go to the visitation. If the weather is bad, I will stay nice and warm - and safe - inside the house. Just the thought of having to get out in the ice in the morning the way I already feel made me decide to treat myself to an unofficial snow day. If it becomes as official snow day, all the better, as I won't have to use my day. :thumbsup2

It's a great place, and we are honored to be able to stay there. I have taken Kay to several resorts to visit on different trips, but she has only stayed in values. I think she'll be very impressed with Beach Club, and hopefully she wrinkle her nose at future value trips.

Looking forward to those pictures! :dance3:

i messaged back and forth with Brook last night. I hate it that we are missing her by a day!!!
Sooooo.
We are going to watch the prices of the flights.
IF....
They come down at all, we are going to stay until Sunday.
You don't have to twist my arm.

Enjoyed your pictures of CBR! It was such a beautiful place to stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, but the kids want to stay at POFQ because of the slide. Of course, we had to push our trip back a year, so Oct. 2014, by then they may change their minds. ;)

Hoping Jill's trip to DL works out. I would love to go there someday. The kids love the DL app on the iPad because you get to walk around and explore the park.

Enjoy your trip in March!

I've been back to lurking. Keeping caught up and enjoying the pictures!

YEAH to a Disneyland trip! :cool1: You know that I'm kinda partial to it.. since it is only a short way away from me. :thumbsup2 You could always tag along.. you know, just for being there to help Jill out, not that you'd want to go to DL yourself or anything. ;) Wish I were a little closer or I'd help her out at the airport & getting thru security. If you have any questions, I can try to help out. We do lots of day trips, but occasionally we do overnight trips also. If they have extra time, she could come to San Diego and do our awesome Zoo, Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld or Legoland. Lots of fun things to do!

Alright.. back to lurking again...
