No offense taken. Sailing is one of my favorites of Chrisopher's, Snoopy. I bought his greatest hits cd last weekend, and my dd is almost tired of hearing that song. It's very soothing to me. But listening to GnR and Aerosmith is also very soothing to me. I can't/won't listen to country, bluegrass or opera (or Tom Petty ). My dd loves the Dixie Chicks. We have several discussions regarding their mutilation of one of Stevie Nick's songs. She hates Stevie's version, so we have some fun conversations. My ds just listens to whatever we're listening to. He's very diplomatic as far as music goes. But he does lean towards good guitar riffs like I like.

I used to hate country music too...but then along came Garth and he ruined me. Now I like the Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain.
