I didn't get my fast passes

Ughhhhh! I stayed up until midnight and made the selections of space mountain, enchanted tales, and 7dmt. I managed to get the times I wanted for the first two but 7dmt was for 9:30 pm. So I tried swapping four people out and only trying for 2 and the time didnt change very much, the earliest was 8:30. I tried to add everyone back to the original time and it was gone. Ughhhh! I don't really have a back up attraction, I just didnt think it would b e too hard tO get. I changed it to MSEP for now because I wouldn't necessarily be disappointed withat, but it means I couldn't get a new fast pass all day.

Any suggestions on a backup? I w m going with a 4 year old girl, six year old boy, and four adults. This will be our first day in the parks. We are planning on doing tomorrowland and fantasyland the first day. Should I just schedule a meet and greet with cinderella? Or perhaps peter pan which was planned for the second day?

I would notbe heart broken if we didnt get to ride it, and I cannot drag mykids through the park to get on line first thing. We are doing RD but that is so my kids can walk slower to the first ride, I know my son would stop every ten feet if I let him.

Try changing out one person at a time from MSEP > Mine Train. You may be able to find overlapping windows for your party of 4.

If that doesn't work, you can switch everyone back to another ride.

just keep looking from time to time too....many people have reported finding 7dmt days before....you can always rope drop it!

P.S. I was surprised that it wasn't open for my first day either just now.....I was so surprised because last year around this time I got 7dmt AND Anna and Elsa on my first day preferences.....but you will have a great trip anyways!

Is it a ride you would not want to miss? Right now I cant imagine waiting hours in a line that lasts minutes, it takes a big chunk of your day for that.

If you did it during rope drop, it wouldn't be too long of a wait....I think we got out of CRT late and we were at the back end of the crowds to ride with our friends without Fps, and it was only 45 min at the most...yeah, that's a big chunk of time, but there is also the night EMH on Saturday night, they are usually lighter crowds then too.....

If I didn't ride it, I wouldn't be TERRIBLY saddened......but I got a FP because I know the lines will be out of control and its fun....depends on your family and y'all's likes and dislikes....I like the 3 mountains better....but I already got those Fps.....

My friend and I rode it last year during marathon weekend on a FP, and we both agreed that it was cute and we were glad we did it, but it was one that we would have no trouble skipping if we couldn't get a FP and the line was over 15-20 minutes. We felt like the hype built it up to way more than it is.

But a lot of people would disagree with our assessment.

We rode it twice last year only because I was able to get FP for it. For all of the hype I thought it was way to short and the seats were very uncomfortable. I only have 1 FP for it this year as I know DH would like to ride it with me. In order to get the time you want for the big rides you need to change out all of the times on your other rides to get the time you want for the big ride. Then you have to go back and change the times for your other rides to when you really want them.

As an adult I would be fine skipping mine train, but I do really want my kids to ride on it, they are the same age as your kids. I am making my FP+ tonight. I knew A&E was going to be hard, but now I am nervous about the mine train, too!

try for your farthest from the beginning MK day, better chance! As soon as I saw it was difficult on the first day, I immediately jumped to my last MK do to ensure I could get what I needed....

That is my plan... I am going to start with our last day, which is still showing some FP availability for A&E and try to get it in the mine train just for me and the kids. Then I will try for the other 3 adults. Then I will go and try to get the mine train for our other 2 MK days. I guess I should try in groups of 4 and 3 for all of our MK days?

I was able to find a 7DMT FP for our last MK day the morning before. You just have to keep checking back, during your stay people will change their plans opening up more FP's for you.
