I did it!

I finally booked out Fall 2011 trip! I am so excited. This trip is a surprise to my mom. She knows I was thinking we should try to go back next fall (we were supposed to go this Oct), but she has no idea I have already booked it. Now as long as my class schedule for fall works out, we are finally going back! If everything works out, I will be "giving" her this trip next July as her birthday gift.

10 days, 9 nights at POFQ October 14-23 with 8 day park hopper tickets. We booked this time because we really want to do Food and Wine. We also want to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. We will be driving.

I am just so excited to do this for her. She has been wonderful the last year as I have decided to go back to school and lost my job. I have a place to live and someone I can talk to because of her. I just wanted to give her something back.

Okay, so I decided to go look around and see if they had any information about my schools Fall 2011 "important dates". Well, it what I saw is true then I did something awesome without realizing...

I scheduled on my fall break! Which means the only 2 days I have to worry about missing anything on are Wednesday and Thursday (all of our classes are one night a week and never on Fridays). I am so doing a happy dance now!

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do for the surprise? I see some great ideas for kids... but not too sure how to translate them for my mom.
