I'm guilty of buying it and letting it sit for weeks before I opened it. DON'T DO THAT!! Read the instructions, start with junk paper to practice cuts, and start with thicker paper because the mat will be super sticky at first and thinner paper will tear when you try to remove it. Use the Cricut spatula or some similar item to lift your pieces off the mat. Read the manual.

I love mine....I got the baby just about a year ago, and the Expression in November....they are part of my daily life now (especially since I've been bitten by the swap bug).

I also just got my first - the Expression and 2 Cartridges for 250.00 including shipping from ebay. It will be here on Friday, and i already went to M's yesterday and bought another cartridge since they were 40% off.. and probably will go back again later this week..

Also bought the wedding cart. on ebay, waiting for that too, i was "hired" to do my sis's wedding invites / programs/ favors.. so, that was a huge enabler for me to get this!
