Our Broadway Revue was today. I was looking forward to it, but I was really nervous. It was at 11:45, and I was getting ready from 8:45 until about 11:30. It took three coats of paint to get me as green as Elphaba is supposed to be. Or at least, close.
In practicing with the mikes, I screwed up badly, so I wasn't so optimistic about it. My friend and I were third; I was freaking out. One of my other friends was shaking really badly; he was last. I gave him a hug, but where my hands were sweating, I got his shirt green. Oops.
The problem with our song was that neither of us were confident enough to sing loudly. But apparently I did really well. Our drama teacher said she was amazed at how well I sang, because that was the first real time she'd heard me over the music and everything. I couldn't hit the really high note, but oh well. My friend did well, too, but her timing was off.
I can't believe I did it! It was amazing; I loved it!
I'll post a picture of Leann and I as soon as I figure out how...

The nerves get the best of all of us, but you seemed to pull through well!
