I am taking my mother to WDW in September for a joint birthday celebration for us and also to honor my dad. Disney is a special place that just the three of us shared and I think it's a nice way to honor my Dad. It's exciting but also bittersweet.

Yay, I am glad we are going but sad he won't be with us. But, he really will be won't he.

Thanks guys. It's been just a month today so I am just waiting for the water works to begin.

We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort (of course) and going September 13-20. Mom's birthday is the 14th and mine is the 16th.

I was originally planning on going for Dad's birthday (Oct. 27th) but thought that we would probably want to be here for that.

Yes, it is definitely something great to look forward to. It takes our mind off of the other stuff. I had her picking out the restaurants we will be going to for the Dining Plan last night. That was comical. Her response to everything I had printed off the net was "But, it's so expensive". MOM, we have the DP!!! She's so cute.
