I declare a week long posting WAR!

I was going to buy this in celebration of finishing my exams, is it good? Will it slow down my laptop to a snails pace?

I love it it wont run on my computer but it will on my dads he has a like 600-700 dollar laptop from work.

The Sims 3 and the extension packs are hard drive hogs. The game runs okay on our laptop (currently it is on a lower end model bought in Nov./Dec. 09). We have been planning to get a desktop or a better laptop for gaming, photo stuff, and other software hogs. You might want to check out the game requirements to see if your computer can handle the load.

The Extention packs are not very good so far.

Called in sick to work yesterday...hehe. It was such a gorgeous day out, I spent the day shopping with my best friend and laying out in the sun with my sisters.

Today I went to lunch with my two best friends and cheered my sister on at her dance recital (she did incredibly well. As a former dancer, I'm extremely proud of her )

I'm house/cat sitting for my friend for a few weeks while she goes to a camp reunion and a missions trip. So that's where I'll be tonight. She's paying me for my time in pizza.

Getting ready to watch something on streaming Netflix now that DD is asleep. My big excitement today was eating my way around the samples at Costco! They had Sour Patch Kids so I felt like a kid again.

I still play the original version of The Sims with the expansion packs! I already know the cheats and I like it, so I've never gotten into the new versions.

You convinced me, I went to town and bought it this morning! I was surprised at there only being one disk, I remember the Sims 2 having 4 or 5 disks to initially install! Ahhh, those were the days!

I hate how ugly all the clothes and hair still are in the sims 3.
Also they have like no options for the younger sims.

They clearly need more women working on this game.

At least we can download decent clothes.

I remember how excited I was when I first discovered that I could download hacked objects and clothes for the Sims. I used to download tons of stuff back when I first played, oh, about ten years ago. And I downloaded it on a dial-up Internet connection! Yep, I'm pretty old.

I had a great day hanging out on the patio with my family today. We had gorgeous weather and fired up the grill. We put DD in her little pool for the first time and she loved it. It was really nice having DH home from work. We also got a bit of cleaning done. My sister is coming to visit this week from SC so we got the guestroom ready. We haven't seen her since Christmas and we are really looking forward to her visit.

NC Beast is on a quest to find a bottle of the limited edition of Bret Michael's Trop-a-Rocka Snapple. The stores within 20 miles listed on Snapple's site seem to be out of stock.

He is planning to search again on his day off on friday.
