Using Disney Math, they are practically free!

Between the AP's & DVC its actually cheaper for us to do a WDW vacation than to go somewhere else for the same amount of time.

We typically pay ~$200/person for air from BOS. Of course the DVC accommodations are "free" (paid off long ago, just the annual dues now). With an AP, we can go wander the parks to our hearts content. And when we get hungry we save 20% with the TIW card.
