I dare you to

My MIL quit her job so that she would be available for us or bil and sil whenever she is needed. She will take the kids for the day, long weekend or week long trips for dh and I and she gave birth to my best friend. :goodvibes

My MIL is very good to our children and will babysit whenever we ask.

My MIL is a wonderful person and I am blessed to have her in my life-I tell my wonderful DH all the time I married him for his mom.

She not only loves her son and our daughter but me as well and I love her as well.

I'm a pretty lucky girl.

I can say the exact same thing about my mother in law!!!!!!!!
She is wonderful!!!!!!!!

the best thing i can say about my MIL is that she lives an hour away

Ditto to that except my MIL lives 3000 miles away. ;)

Those of you who have great MILs are very lucky--I can tell many of you are thankful for them, which is awesome. :grouphug:

Mine can be very helpful at times (albeit, with a requisite amount of guilt  )

Darn, I tried, but I could only be a little nice. :teeth:

My MIL is in great shape for 70 years old!

*But she'll tell you and brag about being a size 2 before you have a chance to notice!*

Mine NEVER said an unkind word about anyone or anything. She was a wonderful Grandmother and MIL. And I miss her alot. She just passed away a month ago and the house seems so empty without her laughter.
:guilty:

When I had to be hospitalized after the birth of my son, she flew out at a moment's notice to take care of the new baby, and my daugther.

Mine does a great imitation of Scarlett O'hara when ever she thinks she's in trouble.

she lives 900 miles away.

She also is a great role model to my wife as to how not to live life. Whatever her mother does, do the opposite and you'll be successful.

mine didn't swear at me today when she called and told me that eventhough I had confirmed with her a week ago that I would bring pies for Thanksgiving and have already bought all of the ingredients, that this morning she called and said that my SIL had just called and offered to bring dessert and she didn't want to hurt her feelings so she told her ok and now my pies would not be needed. Don't cause problems by bringing dessert she said. But she didn't swear! That's one nice thing.

This is downright painful. I hope you know that. .

That's what I was thinking......how long do we have? Is this a test? Can't it be multiple choice? That might be easier. I could just check "none of the above."

She is the BEST! Always cooking goodies for us, like cookies, cake, etc. and calling to say "come pick it up" She'd do anything in this world for us, if we asked, and that's why I love her so much. :thumbsup2

She raised the best Son. Does that count. :rotfl:

Mine didn't come to our wedding (honestly)

Mine lives six hours away.

Mine smokes so much she feels unable to fly on a plane for over eight hours so will never be able to go to America on holidays with us.

Mine is guaranteed a leading green part in any re-make of the Wizard of Oz.

Mine brings her own black cloud wherever she goes.

Yes, you are right, this is easy !!!!!

Geesh, if it weren't for her, you would not have your spouse.

Exactly! It's all her fault! Now why won't she take him back? :confused3
