This sounds fun. Although the only two things I think when I see "Unread: 1" are:

You could put "Tag youre it" in the header, maybe that would be better?

We had a lot of fun with this a few years ago. At least thats the last time I remember doing it. I made some really great friends that I may not have met otherwise so its all a goodwill gesture I guess.
