I Cut My Hair! I'm getting [Dread] Locs! UPDATED - Pg 39!

I've really enjoyed following your journey. Your smile is beyond infectious!
Glad your surgery went well.

Oh Glenda that for the TMI I use 100% aloe vera jucie for that. I just took it now thanks for the reminder. I guess I will be up all night seeing as I slept all day.

I have been fighting sleep during the day so I could sleep at night. I might lose that battle today though!

I also drink Aloe Juice, but it didnt do anything for me, so I went straight to the Phillips Milk Of Magnesia! :yay:

Thank you so much! Like I said, Hopefully soon, I'll actually take some update pics and post them!

Thank you! :goodvibes

No Tarballs, because I was in Jamaica!

I rolled my hair up on small red rods. So it was SUPER curly and tight at the start.

This maybe TMI - but if you were under anesthesia for awhile, make sure you have something to make you go to the bathroom! Between that and the pain medication, it can STOP things for a bit. So make sure not too many days go by! :sad2:

And Happy Anniversary! Hope you're on the mend so you can "celebrate"!
:woohoo: That must have been nice!! Glad to see that you are doing well. The pictures are beautiful and you remind me of my older sisters :confused3:rotfl:

I love the locs and your smile that goes along with them! My DS16 (yes, DS, and, oh, by the way, he has long blond hair) talks about getting them all the time. He is a guitar player. I think it COULD look pretty cool if they were done right and IF he took care of them. His Dad is not so wild about such an idea...

Wow! What if we're related --WAIT, you said "older". I hope not REAL old! :lmao:

I think doing something "crazy" to your hair while you're young and NOT looking for a job is cool. If he does it now and hates it, he can just shave his head in time for the Senior prom, and his yearbook pics!

I hope all is going well with your recovery, I am fine, all is well. I see your doing US and disney soon. We are doing 7 nights disney 2 nights US next month.:cool1: I'm looking forward to it all.:dance3:

Glenda you're hair looks beautiful! I followed many of your TR's before and I just saw this thread. I see you're going to the World in just a few months - are you doing a TR again. I hope so but no pressure:goodvibes

PLEASE let me know how the Harry Potter part was. I was planning on driving over there for a day, and just doing Island's of Adventure. But If I find a good deal, I may do Universal also. We'll see!

Hey! Thank you! I seriously doubt that I'll do another report. For me, it was alot of work writing them, and I got little feedback. However, if something really exciting happens, then I'll do a condensed report. Thanks for asking! Nice to know someone was reading them! :goodvibes

Hey DISers! My knee is doing a bit better. So when I do my hair at the end of the week, I'll post some pics! Thanks for thinking of me! :grouphug:

Well I've finally taken some pictures. This month makes 1 year, and 11 months. Apparently, I'm REALLY out of practice. Hope you're able to actually see my hair well....

-Sometimes I'll wear this headband to keep the sides from grazing my face...can you believe that!

-I have length in the front also, but I prefer my hair going away from my face.

I was thinking the same thing about the TR! I read all of yours (even if I didn't comment) and when I saw your name on a thread I had to check it out, lol. You look fabulous (as always)! Hope your recovery is going well!!

As for the the Trip Report.....I still think I'm done... sorry. But thanks for reading the ones I've done! :surfweb:

Your hair has gotten so long compared to where it started.

You still look utterly fabulous!

Happy PT! I hope you have full range of motion and are pain free in no time!
