I will! I'm glad that I've taken pics, cuz it feels like they've stopped growing! But of course the pics prove differently!

Angela, go on youtube and do a search for "the big chop". You will be surprised at the number of women who are cutting their perm off! And 99% of them look better afterwards. Watching those helped me to take the plunge! Who knows, before the summer is over, it could be you!

I went to youtube and watched several "big chop" videos. I can't stop thinking about it now. I may be cutting my hair sooner than I thought. Since I've been wearing Kinky Twist my hair has been growing at a nice pace. Who knows, the end of the summer may bring about a lot of change.

YAY!!! Told ya! I was in SHOCK when I saw all those women cutting off their perms! I say go for it! I didnt look bad either when I did it!

So if I get tired of my locs, at least I already know what I'll look like when I cut them! PLEASE take a camera with you when you do it, so we can see your pics here!

Well DISers, looks like the 14th's Time the charm! I've finally got some results!

Before I went to Disney World, I bought another brand of permanent hair dye in the same color. I figured that maybe if it didn't work, at least it would enhance the traces of the last attempt. Here's what I bought:

For Natural Hair, the directions said to keep it on for 30mins. But since my hair is hard to color, I left it on for about an hour. Here are the results:

Hopefully you can see the difference! I'm VERY excited! I didn't want a drastic change, just a little color, and I got it!!!

I did a root touch up job on my hair the other day and when my DH got home I said "I dyed my hair today" and he said "i cant tell" but i suppose that was the right response. LOL.
