When I hear terrible things like this it makes me furious. Why does this happen. Recently my boss lost his daughter who was the light of his life and friends lost their 2 yr. old son. I get so angry.

I still haven't spoken directly to my brother, although I've left a couple of supportive messages for him and his wife. Hopefully, as things "settle down", I will be able to reach him. I did, indeed, miss the funeral, which was very early this a.m., in New York. There are just no words.
