any longer. I booked my trip to the world the first day Free Dining came out and then I waited... and waited.... and waited.... for SW fares and most of you know the rest of the story, heeellllooooo.... $277 RT from PVD-MCO????

So, I looked and looked and debated and debated and finally....

Yes, I booked Airtran for $158 RT. I'm a bit disappointed with the times, we don't get in until 1:30 and we have to leave at 4:30, which translates into 3pm and 1:30 pm (with three days between of course) after transfers, etc. This is a first-time "short trip" for us so I hope we don't feel like we've spent more time travelling than we have doing fun things... it's another 2 hours travel from home to airport as well so...

but, I'm just glad it's done. I thought about booking SW or waiting for dings and doing the whole "credit" thing but I'm happy with our price, just not our times so we'll take it and we'll have a grand time!

I'm with you. I know a lot of people love SW and its dings and credits but I don't think its for me. I can't get dings during the day at work so I'd probably miss them. and even if I didn't I'm not sure I'd be able to use the credits.

I booked our trip on Delta cause I saw a good price. SW was $100/ticket more. I really would like to try SW but I am not willing to pay $100 more per ticket to do it.
