I Conquered The World Pin Pursuit Postponed
Until Sunday, August 18th
Due to overwhelming guest interest for this upcoming adventure, "I Conquered the World Pin Game", where guests will be traveling throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to specific locations trading pins or answering trivia questions for stamps that will enable them to complete their journey at Disney's Pin Traders for a free Build-A-Pin, we are gearing up for a huge guest and cast experience...but we need a little extra time to do so...therefore, we'll start a little later on Sunday, August 18th but continue the adventure all the way through September 2002._ We apologize in advance for any inconvenience associated with these new dates.

This is sad news. We changed our trip to be there Sunday, and were planning to spend the rest of that day "Conquering the World". I hope my DD will be satisfied just getting the Grand Opening pins. It would help if the Tinkerbell AP pin is available! Diana

I just had a bad thought. The Tinkerbell AP pin is an "I Conquered the World" Pin. Does this mean no Tink pin either? Diana

I am sorry for those of you who will miss it because of the change, but WOO-HOOOOO!! I am excited now because my kids were so looking forward to this, and I was afraid they'd be out of posters/pins by the time we got a chance to do it. This is smack in the middle of our trip!

I saw a question about the "I Conquered The World" Passholder Tinker Bell pin. It will be released August 18th and the cast member exclusive pin will be released at Company D locations on Friday, August 23rd

I, too, am one of the people who planned her vacation around Disney's original schedule. I am sick that they are making this change now. Yes, I can do the map when I get back in September, but I doubt if there will be any passholder pins left for me.

If Disney can not be sure about dates they should not announce anything. It is terribly unfair of them to keep changing the rules as we go along. Disney, get your act together!

jojo, I'm in the same boat as you. Had some airfare vouchers to use up so picked the weekend of the 9th to go down for some R&R before the September event. Planned to do the map and some lanyard trading, but no other pin type functions. Also very disappointed about the cancellation. I would have choosen another weekend had I known in enough time. I, too, will be there in September and agree, the Passholder Tinks will be gone by then and also hubby is a CM, and the CM Peter Pans will be long gone too. Guess I'll have to recruit some of my friends to watch out for me.

I also arrive on the 17th, so the postponement is sort of good news for me......... I am a CM and want to get that Peter Pan pin from CoD as well.
