Am I alone? I eat one every trip. I love ham, I love turkey, I love to eat with my fingers. Nothing beats gnawing on a turkey leg from Frontier Land and watching the Parade go by!!

Well, I love ham, and I love turkey, but I hate the stringy things in the turkey legs (are they veins? arteries? grizzle? tendons? rubber bands secretly injected into the turkeys before they are slaughtered?), so I will not join you.

That's the one thing my DS (8) is looking forward to the most! We're using this trip to reinforce manners ("Is that really Mickey Manners? I think we need to work on that or Mickey won't be proud of you"). Unfortunately, when I tell him "that's not Mickey manners", he says "yeah, but this is..." and pretends like he's eating a turkey leg!:rotfl:

Count my DH and I in - we always share a turkey leg. :thumbsup2

Man...they smell so good....and look good too....try one 2 trips ago, and did not like them at all.....I might try one again to see if my taste has changed.....

Both my wife and I are big turkey leg fans. We can't be that small of a minority. They wouldn't have them as many places as they do if they didn't sell.

I get at least one every trip. It squicks my wife out a little bit when I eat them, but on the list of vices a husband might have, an annual gorge-fest with an impossibly-large turkey leg is pretty low on the 'worth complaining about' list. ;)

My family likes them too.

I saw the thread about grossest food and WDW, and bet my DH that by at least the second page the whole thing would get side tracked into a "turkey leg haters club" Easy money.

Turkey legs - It's like politics or religion, one of those topics you should just not mention :rotfl:

On our first Disney trip in March 2005 my son said he felt like a Viking when he ate the turkey leg. I'm just counting down the days until our second trip in 35 days when I can see my son and my dad act like Vikings together!

Me and my DD eat one EVERY trip. They are amazing. They are a perfect snack.

Dole float in one hand and Turkey leg in the other watching spectromagic.......thats living right there:thumbsup2

My Dfi kept debating about getting one when we went to WDW for the first time last January. He never did get one and that is one thing he is looking forward to on our honeymoon trip in Sept. They look and smell so yummy!

We go to DL almost weekly and he has been so good about passing the turkey leg stand by each time. He wants his first turkey leg experience to be at WDW - I sure do hope it lives up to his expectations! :rotfl:

It's something you either love or hate and we love 'em! We get one at every fair or festival we attend also. None, however, can compare to the ones at WDW!

The Savage turkey leg ahhh yes. We are vegetarian but when we go to WDW each year, we allow the twins to embrace their inner cave children by brandishing a turkey leg in plain sight of on lookers. It's very flintstonian.
