Anyone else share my affliction?? I alwayy try to catch good sales on different types of bags.
Last week I treated myself to a Vera Bradley bag - a "mini" - black with sprigs of white flowers tied with a pink bow - too cute!! I am just lovin" it!!

My DD15 has had a purse/handbag/backpack fetish since she was a toddler! I'm not kidding. She wanted every purse she saw. And it's grown worse every year.

That kid has more purses than I've had in my LIFE! I guess when I read your post, I realized that she can't be cured.

You just described my 16yr. old daughter! At last count, she told me she has 44 purses. She definitely doesn't get her purse fetish from me. I use the same purse until it falls apart.

I used to be that way, too, 'til my dh bought me a Coach bag for my b-day this year. I haven't carried another purse since. I love that Coach so much, I'd feel like I was cheating on it to use something else, LOL!!!

It's black leather .... I bought a black leather jacket to go with it, and told my dh when I get my new Mustang it has to be black so it'll match the purse.

I am a Vera Bradley nut. Every year I drive 8 hours just for the outlet sale in Fort Wayne, IN (my hometown). I save money all year and just go nuts at that sale....imagine a bunch of crazy purse loving women running around a room about the size of a stadium. It can get scary

Purses are my addiction! My husband tried the old "no more"
after my latest purse though. I bought a Louis Vuitton bag for about $1,600, but it's white and I need a "winter" purse. My other 50 bags just don' get it done!

My DH tried that too. He's pretty lousy at recognizing new ones from old ones though. Every time I change purses he asks, "Is that new?" and the answer is always, "No, but I need a new one."

LOL, I am the same way as your DD!! I'm 26 now and my dad still hasn't come to terms with it!! However, I can still talk him into supporting my addiction when we "stop by" Robinsons-May or Macy's

I love purses too! I used to be a shoe addict but then I got pregnant and my shoe size went up a whole size. Over 75 pairs of shoes got sent to goodwill.

I've since moved on to purses.

Another purseaholic checking in here. I truly love purses I walk in a store and I swear they start talking to me "bring me home, no take me" and I just can't take it and decide to give one (or two or three) a loving home with me. DH luckily thinks it's funny and doesn't ask how much they cost very often. I wish I had room for more and I would keep them all but once or twice I go through them and give the ones I haven't used in a while away. My SIL, MIL, and BIL's girlfriend probably haven't bought a purse in years. Right now I am in love with clutches - they are perfect for me since they don't take up much room.
