I had some fun recently at the Disney store. I bought a whole bunch of gifts (some for me, most for others), including 3 adult t-shirts, an adult long sleeved shirt, a portable coffee mug, Pooh slippers, 4 ornaments, all with a grand total of $103. Most of them were 50% off, ornaments were buy 1 get 1 free, and additionally, since I spent over $100, I got an extra $20 off. It was nice to get some of my shopping done at the Disney store, no less.
I don't know if others experienced the same, but the Disney store was awesome this past week. If they would have had bobble heads, I would have been in trouble.

P.S. - I talked to the Disney Store employees about the change to the Children's place that is happening soon and they said they are still going to carry adult clothing, and are generally going to remain the same. They are very disappointed too with the change that is taking place - just thought I would pass this information along.

Yes I took my dad shopping there a week ago and he went nuts with snow globes and so on with teh buy 1 get 1 free along with the discounts on the clothes he walked out of there spending just over 270 bucks.

Did anyone happen to notice if the princess figurines with the 10 or 12 outfits included were on sale? Regular price is $25.50 which is too rich for my blood, but my mom & I have been waiting for them to come on sale for about 2 months now... if anybody ever sees them on sale, I would appreciate if you could let me know.

Thanks!

Hi Beglluvr,
I was in shopping in the Boulevard Mall on Saturday. At the Disney Store there, they have all the Princess type barbies for $9.99US and the outfits were $3.97.
We bought 2 of the Christmas snowglobes for $100, it was buy 1 get 1 free. They also had the Incredibles globe on for 1/2 price so we bought that as well. I bought the 10 inch Peter Pan and Captain Hook as well for the boys.
I always spend far too much money there!

We were there on Saturday...and if I remember correctly, they were on sale for $13.99 - if I'm thinking of the right ones....they're in the little pink case, with the clear front??

Give your DS a call:)

Have fun!!

Hi mbb!

Thanks for letting me know about that sale... those sound like just what I'm looking for! My DD onley needs 2 and she'll have the complete set!

Thanks again!

Jo,

I was in Edmonton this past weekend.

The only shopping I had time for was at the Disney Store. I was pleasantly surprised when I got an extra 20% off my most expensive purchase. The total would have come out to $80 before the discount. The other bonus was not having to pay PST. I think I'm going to like living in Alberta.
