I Cleaned My Closets and "OH THE WASTE!!"

I don't know if this still goes, but a friend's mom who was French, from Paris. My friend's Mom dressed very nicely, but never trendy, she told us that (for at least her generation) that French women tended to buy just a few very expensive, usually, custom made pieces, all mix & match. In other words their wardrobes were very small, but very, very well made. I remember her as looking very 'timeless', very classy
