I caved and booked

I just can't wait for AP rates anymore! I had to go ahead and book for our June trip. We'll be staying 10 nights at Pop Century. Love the bus service there (well, except on return trips from MK at closing!) CM said that AP rates were on their way but that CM's don't know about them in advance. He says he never knows about AP rates until people actually call and give the code attached to the rate. Just thought I'd share . . .

I caved yesterday too and booked at Pop for our first night in June (after that we stay at OKW on points). I am still hoping for general codes (we don't have an AP) so we can move to the CBR, but if they don't come out at least we know we have a room at Pop (which is nice, we stayed there in 2003 at Christmas time and loved it).

I booked 10 night stay at POP June 8-18. There will be 6 of us in two rooms. I was afraid with everyone else booking there wouldn't be any room left at the POP. Hoping to save with a public code.

When I told my husband last night we had reservations booked for 10 nights without a code, he said "Good I was going to tell you to go ahead but we will have to drop off days if no codes come out."

If no codes come out we will drop 4 days and may stay off for those extra days. Not had much luck staying off site. We would rather stay on disney property. Any suggestion where to stay for family of 6 off site. We are looking for clean, close, and cheaper than rack rate for 2 rooms at POP ($99 X 2 + tax) just in case.

I like Laquinta Lakeside - it should be much less - it is an older resort but still very nice.
