And other things you never thought you'd say or hear plus the stories behind them.
So, I caught my head on fire at work today. I can honestly say I never thought I'd say that. I know I'm not the only one with a off the wall story like this and figured this could make for a fun and interesting thread.
So, let me start:
I'm a city transit bus mechanic and was having to replace an air bag under the bus.
Well these buses spend so much time on the road and pick up all the grime the road can throw at them, so they're no where near clean underneath. I guess while I was loosening hoses, a bunch of grease and road grime had fallen into my hair. It came time to remove the bolts for the airbag but the were so badly rusted I had to cut them out.
I grabbed my die grinder and started grinding, sparks started flying, and my head burst into flames.
It only lasted about 3 seconds and I'm good to go, no major damage was done to my head. But now my hair has that burnt hair feel to it and the top of my head feels sunburnt. Fortunately the burnt hair smell has finally gone away, or I've gotten use to it one.
