I can't wrap my head around a food budget

Budget for the Moon... If you don't use it you will be nicely surprised with extra money when you get home.

If you do use it, you had a nice romantic vaca with your husband and some wine at the signatures, and it was well worth it.

I would personally buy a Disney gift card from a place you can get them at a discount (I buy mine at Sam's) instead of having to pay an extra $5 for the Visa. I consider the money I save on them to be one more snack (okay. Drink) for me!

I also have had terrible luck with Vosa gift cards randomly declining at places (not WDW just in general).
Good point about the Visa fee - I'm going to check Costco for Disney GC's.

I plan on $50 pp/day at F&W only. More if you enjoy the drinks. Any other food is on top of that.

I took a friend once and for the two of us I spent $200 in one day. That was my highest per day spend at F&W.

When I asked the CM at my resort to print out my charges he kind of laughed when it went on for 5 pages. I said "Well, food and wine, you know." He said "I want to go with you to F&W!" I invited him, but he never showed up.
