The Disney Wonder will be stopping for the day in my city! I won't have the money for a cruise anytime soon, but at least I can go see the ship and dream I'll head down in the morning to see it arrive, and again at dinner time to see it depart. Hurray!

It was docked in San Francisco yesterday. We live about 50 miles away so we couldn't exactly rush out to see it, although it was tempting! The SF news stations kept showing different views of it throughout the broadcast, and an SF tourism director was interviewed about how much the SF stops will benefit the economy around the pier area. We sailed to Mexico on the Magic in 2005 so we have a pretty good idea of what the Wonder looks like.

A friend of mine, who is on the Wonder, posted on FB that the Wonder had to head back to san Francisco for a medical emergency yesterday. Hope the person is ok.

BTW, we took our first Alaskan cruise (NCL) last May, which had its last stop in Victoria. What a beautiful city. We hated that the cruise would soon be over, but loved strolling around your lovely city. We'll be back again next May!!
