I can't wait any longer! ~UPDATE 5/25 I'm back!

Happy belated valentines day! Love the Disney love post, great idea.
Some of my (unique or otherwise) Disney loves include:
- Also the area music loops. Ironically as I type this, the Tomorrowland loop is playing. My absolute favourite is the Innoventions loop!
- Disney towels. I had one from my very first 1991 trip and it lasted me so long... it was the one little piece of Disney I held on to for all the years I couldn't get back. I have a thing for Disney towels.
- I totally get the water thing! Me too!

As for a fall trip... DO IT! You know, I hear November is a nice time.
:thumbsup2

Glad to hear I have fellow music loops enthusiast here... though not a hard sell for us Disney lovers! ;) Yes! I also love Disney towels! They really remind me of my childhood as towels were a big souvenir for our family. Hmmm... I wonder who else might possibly be going in November... :rotfl:A November trip really had crossed my mind though... then it would fall into the 6 months between trips category which seems more reasonable than 4 or 5 months. Note I said reasonable... not preferable or desired. ;) We all know I could go to Disney monthly!

Tracey, thank you for the castle picture. You have no idea just how much that lifted my spirits today:) About the $50.00. That's a great start, and it WILL build up each month. Hope you make it in the fall. We are thinking about the first 2 weeks of November, so, who knows? we just might see you there. My hubby Loves Disney too!

Aww, so glad I could help with a castle picture! I have a similar picture hanging up in my office... when all else fails, I just look at that picture and instantly I feel better. :goodvibes Exactly my thought - every little bit helps and now I've got a fund started for the future. :thumbsup2 Hmm... that's now 2 votes for November! :rotfl:

Yay for saving for future trips!

I'm excited about the prospect of possibly having another trip on the calendar before coming home from my May one. I really struggle with withdrawal... :sad1: Time will tell if I can swing it or not... stay tuned! ;)

There is nothing more fun to save for than a WDW vacation!! I like to have the future vacation dates mapped out before I finish a WDW vacation. Helps with the Disney Withdrawal Disorder. Fun to think what you could do with that $50! 5 Disney Balloons? A breakfast at Crystal Palace? A MNSSHP ticket?

At work I am asked questions all day long. Your questions are way more fun.

Favorite park - Magic Kingdom
Favorite ride - Haunted Mansion
Favorite character - Goofy and Eeyore
Favorite Disney restaurant - Liberty Tree Tavern

I completely agree! Knowing that I have another trip to countdown to would help DWD immensely :thumbsup2 And yes... very fun to think about what $50 could buy me on my next trip... 5 Disney balloons:rotfl:

I can't help but agree - my questions really are fun, aren't they?! ;) Your own trip is getting so close!!! :cool1:

I'm here! Excited you started a PTR! I'll be missing you in May by about a week! I almost went later in May for SWW but I don't think I could deal with those crowds, just to meet Star Wars characters! :rotfl:

Since I'm late, here are the answers to your questions (this is such a cute idea, btw!)

Favorite park(s)-EPCOT!!!
Favorite ride(s)-Tower of Terror and Soarin'
Favorite character(s)-Marie and Belle (although I love Elsa too, but Belle has always been my girl!)
Favorite Disney restaurant(s)-OMG I can't choose! Ummm...well, it was Le Cellier forever, but maybe now Cali Grill? :thumbsup2

I'm always planning my next trips, even before I've taken the trip I have currently planned, haha! So I can totally understand saving money already for an unplanned trip!

Can't wait to read more! I'm probably going to start a PTR for my trip in a few weeks, I gotta figure out these new DIS boards first!:rotfl2:

Tracy, for some reason I did not know you were doing a PTR!!!! Good for you. Sorry I'm so tardy.

POP CENTURY RESORT... AND SPA!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES!!! I can't think of a better place to stay on your solo adventure (unless it rhymes with "Bilderness Dodge" but I'm getting ahead of myself. ;))

So yeah, you're WDW loves pretty much coincide with mine, with CM's getting the nod as #1. But the list is perfect just the same.

Hi Jen!!! So happy to see you here! Darn it... only a week I'll miss you by! :sad2: Truthfully, I would have preferred to go earlier in May myself... gosh darn work commitments... :faint: I'm excited for you to start your PTR! We can count down to May together! :goodvibes

Rob!!! You made it! Finally... just kidding! ;) Yep, I finally stopped saying I'd do one and just did it. I honesty don't know why I'd waited so long, this is SO much fun! I thought doing a PTR would get me acclimated before I jump into a full on TR.

Hmmm... something that rhymes with "Bilderness Dodge" on a solo trip... I'm intrigued to hear more ;)

I know we share a huge love of the amazing CMs that we're lucky enough to encounter each and every trip. They really do make the whole experience that much more magical. :wizard:

Yay!!! Happy to have you along and :welcome:!!! I'm jealous... I'll be a Mine Train newbie this trip... but very excited to try it out for the first time!!! When last I was there (September 2013), it was still very much under construction.

Hi everyone!
Guess what?! I finally dug up my Disneybound pictures from a couple Halloweens ago at work. Mind you, this costume doesn't scream Belle, but it was the best I could do and still be mildly professional. In case you forgot... it's pretty clear that I work in a library ;) So one may say my choice to go with Belle was very appropriate!

It's not entirely evident in these pictures, but the one thing I had completely down was the hair - should have gotten a hair shot!

In other news... I received my first piece of Mickey mail!!! Here's a shot of my "important dates to remember":

Mickey Mail!.jpg
Less than a month to go before I start making FP+ reservations!

Oh that's a really cute Disneybound! I've never done it before... now I want to. Hmm... Must go raid my closet.
YAY for Mickey Mail!!

Hi Tracy, saw your link in your siggie over on Rob's TR.
Thought I'd check it out and when I saw you were doing your first TR on a solo trip...
Well, here I is.
If you're interested, I've just started my own TR on my first solo trip, feel free to pop over... or not.
No strings attached.
(twine? possibly. but strings? no.)
Link in siggie.

Just a warning. I'm not big on commenting on PTRs... but... TRs? Look out!

Favorite park(s) I'm glad you added the (s) there. I don't know if I could choose between MK and Epcot!
Favorite ride(s) At least this one's easy. I have a few that I go bananas over :banana:but nothing... Nothing beats HM.
Favorite character(s) At the risk of shocking you... I don't really have one.
Favorite Disney restaurant(s) Hmmm..... I haven't eaten at enough to make an informed opinion, but of the ones I have eaten at.... Geez, that's tough... ummm.... Oh, poop. I can't decide between Coral Reef, for the view or Biergarten because it reminds me of my dad.

Thanks, Wendy! You really should try a Disneybound! Oddly enough, I haven't ever in Disney... usually just for Halloween at work.

Hi there and :welcome:! Happy to see another solo traveler - I'll have to pop on over to your TR now! Yeah, I can't really make the call between MK and Epcot either. :thumbsup2 I've never been to Biergarten... I'll have to try that someday. Thanks for stopping by, especially since you don't typically comment on PTRs... I feel honored! :goodvibes

Hi, Tracy! :wave2: I'm joining in!

Our trips will overlap by two whole days! It's so close, YET SO FAR AWAY! :faint:

Now for my favorites!
Favorite Park: Epcot (Picking just one is HARD!)
Favorite Ride: Tower of Terror
Favorite Character: Goofy, of course!
Favorite Restaurant: Via Napoli

Hi, looking forward to reading about your trip!

I'm a solo trip fan as well - they don't beat going with family and friends - but they certainly beat not going when you really need a fix!

I'll keep my favorites limited to WDW :)
Favorite park(s): Magic Kingdom
Favorite ride(s): Space, Splash, Tower of Terror, Soarin, and Jungle Cruise (at night)
Favorite character(s): Mickey, Goofy, Mary Poppins and Bert
Favorite Disney restaurant(s): Ohana, Jiko, Coral Reef, Via Napoli
Unique Love: Wonderful Cast Members, the smell of The Land, and how about the purple road signs that let you know you're away from the real world for a while :)

Hi and :welcome:! Very happy to have you here and happy you're also a May traveler! As our trips get closer, we'll have to see if we have any parks in common those two days... I'd love to do a little Dismeet if you're interested! :thumbsup2

Ahhh, Via Napoli... haven't yet been but I've heard nothing but positive reviews.

Ugh, I know... we're so close but so far away... :sad2:

Hi John! :welcome: Very happy you're here! SO true! A solo trip absolutely beats not going at all - in fact, that was why I first went to Disney solo - my alternative was just not going and I couldn't have that! And after that one time solo, I was hooked! Great favorites, I'm a big Mary and Bert fan, too. :thumbsup2 And YES! The purple road signs are the best! Do you follow DisneyKid4Life's TRs? A recent update from him was a MNSSHP and a group of guys dressed up as those signs... AMAZING!

My first solo trip "kind of" happened the same way. I was flying down for the trip and my friends from Fort Lauderdale were driving up to meet me. Something came up days before the trip and they had to cancel coming entirely - so I wasn't going to skip the trip! I had a much better time than I thought I was going to. Cast Members and people are typically pretty nice so it's not like I get lonely!

The past couple of years I've gone solo the same time you have (both for Star Wars weekends and the 24 hour parties) for this trip, and it's a great time to go!

I do read his reports (I was actually at the MNSSHP the same night too), and I saw that picture and it took me a few seconds to realize what they were. But once I did, I may have screamed "that's awesome" to my laptop!

Looking forward to reading about the rest of your planning. :)

It's so true, the CMs are really incredible to solo travelers - it's hard to be lonely in Disney! :goodvibes That's great to hear that May is a good time to go... I'm really looking forward to it! My only regret is that I won't see more of Flower and Garden.

HAHAHA! I may have had the same reaction when I saw the purple road sign costumes on Rob's TR! :thumbsup2

Again, very happy to have you along! :goodvibes

Love the Disneybound pictures! So, you motivated me to finish up my April 2014 TR and I started my November 2015 PTR! :) Seems so far away, but reports like yours help!

LOVE your Belle look...very cute (and appropriate for work). We miss each other by a week in May. But it's fun to get Disney mail. :)
