i know this has been asked and i've even read the answers, but that was a while ago and now we're getting close to actually going...
so...

when is the best time to get to the port for check-in.....bear in mind i abhor lines and also would like to be one of the first on the ship if possible.....(yes, i really am as obsessive compulsive as i sound)....

It's hard to say, as this will depend on how long you want to wait to board. Check-in starts at 10:30 (once when we got there early, there was a sign that said it started at 11, but one line was already open), and boarding of the ship typically starts at 12:15. However, the boarding time is always subject to change. The line doesn't start getting huge till 11 or 11:30ish (i.e. when the airport and resort buses start to arrive). If you get to the port between 10:30 and 11, you should be one of the first in the embarkation line. One person can keep your place in line while the rest of your party checks out the terminal. you know i think we're on a cruise with you (which isn't all that surprising since it seems you're on a cruise every third day - my kids are greener than kermit with envy)...

here's a clue to spot us......a number of ways....4 people.....3 thin, one horizontally challenged....(or maybe that's circumferentially challenged....i weigh a lot less than 100 but then again i live where weight is in kilos.....if i lived in the UK it would be even better....they go by stones....)

or...another way......4 people.....3 tall (one 6'7") and one vertically challenged...(yes...c'est moi.....hmmm......not such a pretty picture it would seem....)

let's see.....2 sets of baby blues.....2 sets of jet black eyes...
2 blonds, 1 brunette, 1 bald (no NOT me)....

i'm sure there are other clues i can come up with, but those should do it....

oh....and we like silly games....so wherever there's a game, you'll probably find us there....
