We will be at Hollywood Studios that day. We have Kona booked but considering eating in the park.

50's Prime Time gets my vote - I had dinner there in May and it was delicious!

Try the fried chicken - yum!

I suggest staying in the park...it always takes longer than anticipated to travel at WDW.

Oh, and my vote is for Mama Melrose!

50' Prime Time would get my vote. I would not travel between DHS and the Poly if you were planning to go back to DHS after lunch.... Way to much hassle.... If you were leaving for the day, that would be another story, but I would still eat at 50's Prime Time over Kona's! But then again, Im a home cooking kind of girl!

50's Cafe gets my vote, too! We have eaten there several times and have never had a bad meal. Make sure to get dad's brownie sundae. Yum!

We have done all three, and are 3 among our favs. Kona is good at lunch and has a bit more variety for our liking. And as another post mentioned, traveling from park can take up lots of time. So stay in the park, eat at 50s. MM is really good as well, but 50s food is good and has great atmosphere.

In our opinion...

Kona is better than Mama's, and Mama's is better than 50's, (we don't even want that "home-style" cooking at home. )

While I love Kona, I would not travel here to eat if I were going to return to DHS after eating. Way too much of a hassle. If you are done for the day and looking or a nice evening meal, I highly recommend it.
If you want to eat in the park than 50's PTC gets our vote. We enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food.

Is this your first time going to walt disney world...is so I would stick with the 50s Prime Time Cafe..the atmosphere is very unique, you would not have that at the other restaurants.

I also agree if you are in the parks not to trek over to kona maybe save it for another night.

We have ADR's for Momma Melrose but dont forget that the Boardwalk is a 15 minute boat ride away too. That opens up a few more options for you!

my vote is for MM!! we were there at the end of '08 and everyone in the family loved it, from the 4 yr old to the 40 yr old .

I have decided to cancel Kona, and book 50's Prime time. I have a peace about that because I didn't want the hassle getting to a different resort then back to HS.
