I can't believe what I've done....!

All of our trips (this will be 28, if anyone cares) have been carefully planned months, if not years, in advance with all dining preferences carefully thought out. Well, while sitting here at the computer tonight someone evidently entered my body and forced me to book a mini trip for the Expedition Everest preview THIS MONTH! If any of you kind people could possibly find the heart to tell me I haven't lost my friggin' mind, I sure would appreciate it. And we have made a pact that we will not tell one friend or co-worker that we're going....can't stand to hear that "Again????"

You haven't lost your mind. We would have done the same thing but we have tickets to the Odd Couple on Broadway and have been waiting for months to see it. We ordered the Broadway tickets months ago and were waiting for the dates for the DVC preview. When the preview dates were announced we were very disappointed (but happy to see the Odd Couple). It figures that both would be the same weekend.

Good for you!!! The "again??" people just don't understand the magic of Disney and probably won't figure it out until they go themselves. Don't panic about the lack of planning, spontaneous can be just as much fun!!!! Hope you have a wonderful trip! I'll be there January 21-28, maybe I'll see ya on the ride!!!!

You want to hear crazy b/c of the "again" factor and (we havent even gone nearly as much as some people on these board) we have not told one family member, our parents included that we bought into DVC, just dont want to hear all the comments!! My mom came once in 04 and she nor i want her to ever come again. She is not a disney person. Wonder how we share dna

My husband thought I had gone mad when I booked a trip on a whim just three months after our August trip. When he got there he had so much fun we added on 120pts. You never know. I think it's contaigous!

I think spontaneous behavior is a wonderful thing. I know you will enjoy this spur-of-the-moment trip! bravo! I agree about not telling anyone at work.. (and I would not tell my husband's family either!)

and HBC - -- yeah - figures!!! Things like that happen to me a lot. Two wonderful things at once, then nothing for weeks!! sheesh!

Pretty much doing the same thing for the EE preview. Booked a 3 night trip (SSR) a week or so ago and invited a friend to join me there.

We're heading down for the EE preview as well. I booked the long weekend trip two days ago (1/27-1/30).

If we've both lost our minds, it appears we'll be in good company.

Our record is 14 days in advance for plane tickets, rental car, ressies etc. It was a long weekend and well worth it.

As for the EE preview, we just booked two weeks ago! Got an OKW studio no problem.

I have been struggling with that same thought I would love to go.

The only thing that stopped us was that we were already out of town the weekend before and after for Dd's hockey tournament.

The "again" police are everwhere. We took 16 people down for christmas as a bonus for our employees and heard it from everyone else that did not go.
