I can't believe we are going to miss this!!!

" Walt Disney World Resort has designated August 13 to September 30 "Little Ones Travel Time." This seven-week travel period also corresponds with the "free dining" vacation package, designed to draw visitors to Disney World at the slowest time of the year.

Throughout Little Ones Travel Time, Walt Disney World will showcase live concerts and special entertainment by Disney Channel favorites at Disney-MGM Studios. The new "Mickey's Magic Show" created by Feld Entertainment will make its first-ever park appearance.

"Playhouse Disney in Concert" will include the following special live performances*:

8/16/06 - 8/19/06 - Mickey's Magic Show
8/20/06 - 8/23/06 - Doodlebops
8/24/06 - 8/27/06 - Mickey's Magic Show
8/29/06 - 9/1/06 - The Wiggles
Date to be Announced - Johnny and the Sprites
Date to be Announced - Dan Zanes




My sons love the doodlebops and the wiggles!! We've seen the wiggles once and they were great!! I'm really hoping they continue these shows into October!!

My DS loves the Wiggles and we are not arriving until 9/2 missing it by just one day! Do they have the actual guys from the wiggles there? I'm considering moving my trip up a day. Only DD would miss more school. Have to think about that one.

I am so bummed that we're going to miss The Wiggles. We are going to be in WDW the WEEK BEFORE the show...BUMMMMERRR! My little boy LOVES them. I was wondering if the real Wiggles (Greg, Anthony, Jeff & Murray) were going to be there or if it was just going to be a travelling show. However, after going onto the Wiggles website, I think that the real guys are going to be there.
Man, I'm soooooo bummed!...... Oh well...I guess it shouldn't matter because WE'RE (STILL) GOIN' TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!

we're going in the middle of september and I'm so bummed that we're going to miss the wiggles. My almost 3 year old is, after all, "growing up to be a red wiggle." He wants a guitar for his birthday so he can "practice being Murray." sigh. I'm holding out hope that we'll get to see dan zanes while we're there, though. don't tell DS, but I'm actually a bigger fan of dan zanes than the wiggles

I will have to try to re-do our plans also now since it's not starting to the 16th. We have an ADR for the new character breakfast and DS would probably get a kick out of Mickey so I will have to see if I can change it. I so wich we were there when the Wiggles were. They are his favorite then Little EInsteins. Wonder if there's anything planned for the 13th - 15th?

So what else is going on for our little ones during this time?

He used to be in the Del Fuegos, I think? He's very cool--a somewhat more grown-up friendly brand of kid music than the wiggles. Umm, not that I don't love the Wiggles, but man those guys have a lot of....energy.
