I can't tell you how many times I have been to Disney solo. I used to go often. I am independent and I love Disney.

A year and a half ago my life changed and I have someone in my life.

We did a family trip last summer with my DD and it was the best trip of my life. I can't tell you how many times my DD and I would be there just the 2 of us and I would look at the families and wish I had that. Now I do and it's heavenly.

I find that I would rather be home than any place else.

I have to go to Orlando this Friday. Can't possible go to Orlando without Disney. I am staying with my sister who I haven't seen in a year and a half and then I am booked at the Pop for Sat and Sunday nights and will come home late Monday. I get to have one night at the Food & Wine which is amazing I am a big wine drinker and I realy like being able to sample so many different kinds. I have my favrite Disney restaurant booked for Sunday night. I will most likely go to Jellyrolls Saturday after they throw me out of Epcot.

Sounds perfect right?

I don't want to go. I can't believe myself. I haven't spent a day apart from my boyfriend in a year and a half We just do everything together. Two VERY independent people found that doing thigs with another person makes it that much more fun.

So I see myself going but somehow I think that it's going to be less of a trip this time because I am going alone. He isn't lking forward to his weekend without me. We live in a small town and neither of us can go anywhere without someone asking where the other half is.

I think I ruined my Disney solo travel!

Lisa, I feel for ya.

I'm an independant single mom who loves Disney. I just met someone in the last couple of weeks and now I'm flying down to WDW tomorrow for a solo trip.

I think you should just concentrate on having a good time. Remember the old saying...Absence makes the heart grow fonder! :)

Wow, I totally hear you. I had a chance encounter at the gas station last night (broke my "never talk to strangers" mode) and now I have a "non - Disney " date for Saturday lunch. I am really feeling like this chance encounter may impact my life in a big way and I am prepared for anything, but I am afraid of losing my independence. I have always loved my solo trips and just moved here to be closer to the mouse, now, I don't know. Strange ways of the world. . .or the "world".

I like to think that things happen when they are supposed to! Good luck on your date!!!
