It was one of the rides I had most fun on when I went, and it's closing down :( I hope the new ride is certainly worth it. What are your feelings about this?

I am sad too. Although I am excited to see Despicable Me. I think it will be great!

I said the same thing when The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera closed and became Jimmy Neutron.:thumbsup2

I am irked it wasnt open this summer so we could give it one last ride... :-(

I'm not going to miss it. I rode it only once but the whole experience was bad. I'm sure Despicable Me will be great!

I loved the Jimmy Neutron ride :cool1:. I would laugh through the whole thing :goodvibes. I will definately miss it :sad2:. Llama llama llama :wizard:!

I third that! I was incredibly disappointed to see Hanna Barbera go, those cartoons were classics and at the time Universal staples. In fact...I won't act like I don't still miss it!:confused3

I'm thrilled to death that it is leaving. We've ridden it twice over its lifetime and we are very much looking forward to something else.

When did you go? We were just there and they were open every time while at the studios.

The last time that we went it was Hanna Barbera. So we are happy to catch the last few rides Jimmy.

Is DM remodel going to be like BTTF into Simpsons? Or is it being gutted?

Obviously we went during the part of the summer where it wasn't open... Happy to hear it was open every time for you though :thumbsup2

I ask because I thought they were going to be open the whole summer before closing. I guess June is not considered summer. :thumbsup2

I liked JM but I'm excited to see what they are going to do with the ride. We love Despicable Me. Looking forward to lots of minions!

I thought it was going to be open when we went for Memorial Day weekend and it was closed too.:sad1: That's ok we have done it countless times.:thumbsup2

I'm in the parks quite frequently, and Jimmy was open every day I went. Maybe it was just having an off couple of days?

That said, I'm excited to see what Universal can do. Despicable Me, while not my favorite movie, was cute. It'll be good family fun and a great fit for the front of the park.

I believe it didn't open until around the 18th of June?? We spent a full week there right before and disappointed it was always closed.

JN tv show grew on me from watching it with youngest kid, but that concept/type of ride platform hasn't held up as well as BTF-Simpsons/Spiderman. ET &Twister are so detailed there's always something new to discover each go-thru. IMO they should skip a new version entirely & start completely over w/another attraction.

How long could it take them to retheme a ride like this?...I understand the BTF to Simpsons conversion was a major project...this ride is just a video projected on a screen with new accents put on each "car".....If it was all ready to go, I can't see it taking it more than a weekend or a week at most....why does it take so long.

Leave JN open until they are completely ready for the switch. Close it up on for a week and reopen.

BOOHOO for me too. We will be there on 8/23 with 6 kids who have never been to US before......But they have been listening to us talk about the JN ride for the past 3 years.
