to Engelbert Humperdink I can't believe I am actually writing this but I did...I got tickets. He will be playing at our local performing arts theater and my mom has always loved him so I told her I'd get tickets and I would take her. I'm a good daughter

You ARE a good daughter. A couple of years ago, I took my mom to see Tony Bennett. She and I were laughing in the theatre. It was all these little old ladies with younger men who were fairly obviously their sons. I told her if she'd had boys, she'd have had a real date!

I sent my parents to see Engelbert a few years back--10th row, small theater, great seats. They loved it, though Dad was a bit amused by the women throwing their keys/underwear at Engelbert.
