I put the title of this post in all caps as fair warning to anyone who in completely uninterested in my upcoming March trip. And if that applies to you, I don't blame you. My life is so hectic that I have had trouble summoning up interest in this trip myself.
Ok, true confession time is over.
So... The other day I got my ME info in the mail. I am pretty sure that ME is the acronymn for Magical Express, right? Well, anywho, I got the pretty yellow tags and called to update my flight info. Delta has changed the flight times and numbers 4-5 times since I booked the flights in November. By the way, did I eer tell you that we got ALL FOUR tickets for free???? Score! I booked mine and the two kiddos using our credit card miles and DH booked his using his Delta FFmiles. What can I say? He flies a lot for work (always to very far away places such as Japan, Sweden or Greece, etc.) and I spend a lot of money on our cc! Haha! Just kidding.
OK, so my next step was to plot out which park we'd be visiting on which day. I always use touringplans.com for this and I have not been disappointed yet. And since we are actually going during a busy time of year for a change I definitely wanted ole TP's input on which park we should visit on which day... Here is the breakdown:
Tuesday, March 16: Arrive at 12:27, MK
Wednesday, March 17: EP
Thursday: DHS
Friday: MK
Saturday: EP
Sunday: AK (and a braves/Cardinals baseball game at WWofSports)
Monday: MK
That is 7 full days of park fun, folks. Now, I am sure we will have plenty of open-till-close days, but we can take it as slow as we want, really. In all our trips we have still not "seen it all" but we are fine with that and we go frequently enough that no one feels the need to run around like maniacs all the time. We'll visit DTD in there at some point, and I really want to go over and visit the Boardwalk on one of our EP days.
Of course, if anyone has any suggestions I am quite receptive... You might say I am all

EARS!! get it????
We are doing the QSDDP this time around. We did it in February when I dragged my entire family along for dance championships (I was 35 weeks prego and couldn't face it alone) and found we liked it more than we thought we would. Such a carefree, fancy-footed feeling. We'll eat when we feel like it and not before!! Mwahahahaha! Now, for a full-on week long trip I would have been happy with some TS meals, but the kiddos could care less and this trip is about them. We are adding in a few OOP character meals here and there... Chef Mickey's for breakfast Friday morning and then also for dinner the night before we leave. This is my kids' fave character meal... DD is like, so totally OVER the princesses and they just like the classic gang, baby. Fine with me.This is THEIR trip. I plan to go back to doing exactly what I want and family-be-darned on our NEXT trip... Which will more than likely take place November 2012.
Ugh. It has been more than a decade since I last went a year without at least one trip to WDW. But now that I am retired from pom coaching (can I get a woot?) and we no longer live 6 hours away (can I get a boo hiss) and we have a new young'n (can I get an awwwwww...) the enxt trip will have to wait awhile.
Cheers!
