I can't believe I even need to ask this..

All the times we have gone to WDW and I can't remember if you can pick up buses at the TTC for the various resorts and parks. When we went to wdw in Nov. , after the LUAU at the Poly we opted to walk thru the resort out the back and over to the TTC just because we love the place and have stayed there before. When we got to the TTC, it was deserted. The parks had been closed for just over 1 hour. We ended up taking the monorail to EPCOT and boarding a bus there to OKW. It just got me thinking and my wife thinks I am nuts but I always thought we could board buses at the TTC for just about anywhere. Is old age and loss of memory getting to me??...smjj

I always thought you could, too. However, I don't think it works that way. I believe you can catch a bus to Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney, Animal Kingdom, and MGM Studios, but I'm pretty certain that you can't catch busses to other hotels.

Anyone know for certain?

I'm fairly certain that Disney has changed its bus routing system such that the TTC is no longer a major hub. I think the theme parks and maybe DTD are now considered the hubs, but I have no idea what you're supposed to do (except maybe take a cab) if you are at one resort long after the theme parks close and need to get to a different resort. I have found that it is extremely difficult to get specific information about the Disney Bus system on-line. Lately, whenever I've had a specific question, I've called the main Disney information line and the CM's put a call into the bus dispatch station to get directions on the best route.

The only resort bus you can get from the TTC is for WL & FW. That is because their main mode of transportation to MK is via boat. Sometimes the water is to high or low unabling those with wheelchairs or those handicaped scooters to board the boat with out getting off their chair.

The main hub is DTD. TTC is only available for FW and WL. Sorry you had to go out of your way to find out!
