I Can See Epcot From Here! ~ A November Trip and Dining Report ~

Holy crow you didn't love the Kaki Gori.:lmao: I should've known, since I looooooooove it.:rotfl2: You got the strawberry which is my favorite. I like them on hot days-- in fact the kids were talking about them the other day and how we will probably eat a ton of them in Sept. Nothing like good ole corn syrup to get them wound up.:dance3:

And oh wow- your crowds were heavy there that day! What date was that? I'm surprised at how crowded it was.

Club cool-- we've never been. If your son likes those drinks I'm sure Belle will love them. Guess it's going on the list!!

The pics with Tigger were so cute-- and yay for the boys getting their passports completed!!

I forgot that when we go it's gonna be 198 degrees and running from kidcot to kidcot is not gonna be that much fun.:scared:
I'm making the kids sign a contract that says if they whine and complain b/c of the heat that when they get home they're taking turns on pooper scooper duty for months since that's when they wanted to go.
:rolleyes1

Great update!! I can't wait to see where dinner is.popcorn::
;)

Jo you so crack me up :lmao:

What a fun time in WS. The kids and I haven't spent much time in each country so I'd love to do that next trip for sure. Sorry it was so crowded though. Club Cool is lots of fun!!

I am late getting to your TR today DH and I were looking at videos of the BC on utube, he seems quite excited even was talking about visiting the BW I told him how I thought for sure he would pick the BW and he said he picked BC cause that is where he thought I wanted to stay :rolleyes1........Then he left to run to the store for a few things before our inpending ice storm for tomorrow and got stuck in the driveway, he hit the side of our "ludg" trail and the two passenger side tires would not budge :rotfl: ended up having to call AAA to pull him out :lmao:

You did good catching quite a few of the WS performers on your trek around Epcot.

I am not sure if I would get the kaci gori or not, I remember talking about it on the November Thread but I never was a big fan of snow cones.

The crowds did seem a little large but I bet you I will have bigger crowds when we go since we will be there opening weekend , I really wanted to avoid the very beginning of the festival , darn Disney for cutting the discounts off on Oct 1st

Love the pics with Pooh and tigger

I want to hit club cool, that is something we missed last trip too, that beverly that everyone hates I read tastes like moxie which is my mother in laws all time favorite, I have never tried it but and curious and plan on trying it at Epcot.

That little villiage is so cute and how awesome is that, that you ran into Mary Poppins :cool1:

Great pictures and report today Shelly. Love the model train ones.

Club Cool is a fun place to hang out - I can't believe you haven't been there yet Jo - oh and to make you even more nerdy today here is some more Mexican music with Mickey & Minnie dancing for you that I filmed yesterday:

http://www.youtube.com/tommyflixhd#p/a/u/0/JAFmCAUhdVw

That Cinderella Castle collectible is over the top - don't think I would get one even if I did win the lottery. LOL!

Epcot Rocks! More, more more!!!

Sea :cool1:

Thanks Sea! :goodvibes

Cool video! :cool1:

I hope you and the kids get to take your time through WS next time! It's a lot of fun. But tiring! :upsidedow

Oh no! :scared1: I'm sorry your DH got stuck. Stupid winter.

I hope your F&WF crowds aren't too bad!! :wizard: But be prepared in-case they are.

Thanks! :) It's always nice to catch Pooh & Tigger in the UK, there's never a wait!

Good luck with the Beverly! :scared: :rotfl:

Sorry to hear you didn't love your Kaki Goris! We are one of those families that love, love, loves them! Strawberry in particular. :cloud9:

It looks like you had a very successful afternoon touring the WS and ran across a few of the street performers too! :thumbsup2

And nothing beats being able to walk back to your room from the IG! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

oooohhh!!! You got to see Rick Springfield!!!!! :yay: :cloud9: My girls ABSOLUTELY FAVOURITE song is "Jesse's Girl" They both have it on their mp3 playlists!!! :lmao: Can't wait to see pics of that!! ;) I am so glad that the boys got their passports done! I know how hard you worked on those! I have the pages for those bookmarked and am planning on making some for my girls for August! :goodvibes Can't wait to find out where you had dinner!! :)

Good morning everyone! :goodvibes

Yes, I should be at school! But we had a 2 hour delay due to freezing rain. I didn't have my cell phone on this morning since I was already scheduled to work so I had no idea about the delay and got up at 6:00 and showered and started getting ready when I turned on my phone and listened to my messages. :upsidedow I had just gotten the kids up too. :faint: We never cancel and very rarely have a delay. And since it wasn't even snowing I sure wasn't expecting a delay. I didn't even know it rained through the night. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. The kids have been watching TV all morning!

So we are now getting around and finishing getting ready and will head out in about 45 minutes or so.

I remember you guys loving them from one of your reports!

Oh well, there are plenty of snacks at WDW so it's not like I'll go hungry!

It was a great day at Epcot and we just loved being able to walk back to the resort! :goodvibes

Yes we did!!!!! :cool1: And it was awesome! But more about that later. ::yes::

It was fun making the passports and then watching the kids get them all stamped! Your girls will have fun with it this summer!

Living up north with the weather y'all have is a world I can't even imagine! :cold: The snow is so beautiful, and I love when it gets really cold, but I'm sure it can be a real pain sometimes!

It's always hard to go back to sleep after waking up early. :upsidedow Well, at least you will be fully awake for your long day! Of course, that means you may be really worn out by this evening. ;) I hope you have a good week at school!

We will try to behave while you're gone!

I can't imagine living somewhere and not having to deal with all this. It must be so nice!

Of course I know when the south gets the tiniest bit of snow they shut down cities. :rotfl: Unless we have several inches, I'm talking feet, of snow we don't cancel anything. It's just our way of life I guess. Plus we have the means to clear the roads here with the huge snow plows and salt trucks. I actually don't mind driving in the snow at all. But I do hate the cold weather for so many months of the year. :sad2:

I guess we are under a freezing rain advisory until 10:00. But it's not even raining now and the sun is out! :upsidedow Hopefully the ice is all melted off the roads by now.

Yeah, if I hadn't of showered I could have probably gone back to sleep. I probably shouldn't have even tried, now I have a migraine. :headache: So I just took some Excedrin and will drink a Mtn Dew and head off to school! :hyper:

Have a great day! And yes, try to stay out of trouble while I'm gone. :rotfl: I might have to get a sitter for you and JO when I'm working.

The schools are closed here in our area. Not many accidents on the roads this morning (listening to a monitor) but I'm glad they closed any way.

I've really enjoyed your tr -- your boys sure do make the most of Disney!

Good night Sister!! :faint:

Maybe T needs one, but I don't need a sitter. :snooty:

On second thought, perhaps I do.

I do seem to be the ringleader in a lot of um, fiascos. yes, that's the word.

:lmao:

Sea---- I love it!!!! How nice of them to dance... just for me.:goodvibes

Sheila--- I hope your snow embankment doesn't attack any of you today. :guilty: Stay safe.

Shelly--- hope your migraine goes away. :(
We'll be good today, since you're not here and feel so badly and all.

You believe me, don't you??????
:rolleyes1

Shelly- be safe I use to say I did not mind driving in the snow either until the year I totalled our one car :rotfl:

They closed the schools here last night due to the inpending storm, which as of when I went out at 10am with the dog was only 3-4 inches and none of the freezing rain that is predicted ......Yet :scared1: Although they are reporting the roads are terrible

I feel bad for the kids they will be going to school this year until July

Joy of being retired-not having to go out when the weather is bad :)
of course no $ to go out when the weather is good either :lmao:

Jo- waiting on the plow guy to do the driveway .....again. This is getting to be an expensive winter

Florida I need it bad!

I loved Rick Springfield when he was on General Hospital....Dr. Drake. I think I was about 7 or 8.:love::love:lol.....

I can't believe how crowded EPCOT was......I am crazy enough to go in August this year.:scared1::eek::scared1:

I am tired of the snow!!!! You are correct..if they see snow---NO SCHOOL!! Yikes.:confused3

Do you live near California University of Pennsylvania?

Hi Shelly! :wave2: You are most probably home by now, or at least the school day should be over! I hope your headache was cured by the Dynamic Duo of MD & E! And I hope the day went so well that you can't wait to go back tomorrow. ;)

As you can see, we all deserve an A+ in conduct for today. We were all on our very best behavior......yes, ALL of us!

Our roads weren't bad by the time I left, thankfully!

Thanks, glad you are enjoying the TR! :goodvibes

You - Ring leader of fiascos??? Oh I don't believe that for a minute!! :lmao:

Thanks, my migraine went away shortly after I took the Excedrin. Thank goodness! I hate being at school with a migraine. Those fluorescent lights are the worst. :sad2:

Thank you for behaving today while I was gone!! :rotfl:

Thanks Sheila. We had a safe trip into school. I'm glad you didn't get too much bad weather. Maybe it will miss you this time! :wizard:

Luckily our neighbor plows our driveway for free! Well, DH does some work in return for him, so it all works out.

I remember Rick Springfield being on General Hospital now that you mention it! I had forgotten all about that. :upsidedow

We had a blast at the concert! That will be coming up very soon. :thumbsup2

I think California University is a couple of hours south of us maybe. Not exactly sure. :confused3 I think it's south of Pittsburgh isn't it? Do you know someone there?

Yes, you ladies were very well behaved today. :flower3:

I am getting my Masters in Law through there....

Keep em' comin!!! I am finally all caught up again!!!!:banana:

Hey Sheely- Just got caught up again! We were away for a long weekend. Loving the report. We stayed at BWI in 2009 and my boys both got to help with the shows. My DS7 also got to do Jedi Training and my DS12 got to do the act with the guy you saw the end of at Italy (with the soccer balls). They LOVED that stuff, it was also a highlight for my boys! Can't wait to hear more. Have a good night!
Cyndi

Rick Springfield! :rockband: Can't wait to hear about it. I hope he sang "Affair of the Heart". :goodvibes

But it's too bad that Leif Garrett wasn't performing when you were there! :lmao:
