I can never get a pedicure...

My friend will NEVER get a pedicure. She can't stand nail clippers or people touching her feet. She bites her toenails. Don't ask.

Now I can barely look at my own thread. I feel sorry for the poor nail tech who gets that woman's feet to work on.

I'm with you OP.

I'm not really grossed out about feet, I just don't want a stranger touching mine. Actually I don't really liked to be touched at all if it isn't necessary (except for DD hugs that is!).

We went on a cruise and my mom paid for a peducure for me...so I had to go. It was horrible! By the end I had a bad tension headache that turned into a migraine.

Am I wierd? Proabably...but please...DON'T TOUCH ME!!

1. OMFG.

2. What kind of shoes can you wear with toenails like that?

3. Even with sandals, wouldn't you have to buy a size or two larger so the nails wouldn't hit the ground with every step?

4. OMFG, again.

5. In the lower picture (with the polka dot/striped talons), does it not appear that the woman's legs are unshaven? She'll spend $$$ on her scary, scary toenails, but not shave?

6. One last time.. OMFG.

Anyway. I love, love, love my mani/pedi days. And I have a membership at Massage Envy. I guess I don't have a problem touching people (I'm a nurse and have to touch some nasty stuff) nor do I have a problem being touched. As a matter of fact, I've been in a cast for almost 6 weeks. The cast comes off Thursday and guess where I'm going. Yep, to get my mani/pedi AND a massage. I can't wait.

I was the same way - didn't want anyone touching my feet. I would go every 2 weeks for my nails.

Finally oneday I went for a pedi - and LOVED it. It is so relaxing!
