I can honestly say...

I went to Starbucks with a friend last week and could have read War & Peace in the amount of time it took him to friggin order a cup of coffee. How yuppified have we become when we start adding something like blueberry to coffee? What's next, truffle oil?

Hey now, I got some chocolate truffle coffee from Publix that was actually very good! :rotfl2:

So was that a half-caff with medium foam and some imported frangelico-infused biscotti on the side? Just make sure u get the biscotti that are made from impoverished ten-year-olds... their delicate hands are ideal for biscotti-making!!! Coffee is so hip now that even if u want a plain ole cup of tim hortons it costs almost 2 bucks. I can't wait for the yuppies to go back to their microbrews and leave my coffee alone. Don't mind me I'm just bitter because I realized I'm not cool enough for sbux anymore.

I hate Starbucks coffee. It's burnt.

I drink black coffee, so want it strong and smooth. ::yes::

When I go order a cup of coffee, it's just a plain cup of coffee. They actually look at me like I'm weird if I don't get a shot of some sort of flavoring. Blueberry does sound really gross.

Yep, me too.

"May I have a plain, black coffee, please?"

"Would you like anything with that?"

"No thanks, just the coffee."

"I mean, do you want anything IN the coffee?"

"No thanks, just plain, black, please."

Hands over a cup that "has room for cream and sugar." :headache:

They just don't get it! LOL.

Dunkin Donuts does though. ::yes:: Except the best Dunkin Donuts are in the northeast.
